Leida Margaretha recently wrote a heartfelt letter to the judge, explaining her side of the bail-jumping charges. She revealed that authorities charged her because she failed to update her address and phone number. Leida admitted the oversight but said emotional distress after losing her five-week-old daughter caused the delay. Writing from jail on July 17, Leida shared that she couldn’t think clearly or function properly due to grief.

She said she didn’t mean to ignore the legal requirements; she simply wasn’t in the mental space to follow through. As a grieving mother, she struggled to eat, sleep, or process anything. Leida pleaded with the judge, who is also a mother, to understand her situation. She expressed deep remorse and hoped the court would recognize her intentions and drop the charges against her.

Leida Margaretha recently revealed that she is not in a good financial situation. She submitted several documents in which she explained that she is not employed at the moment. The reality TV star receives a $700 allowance from her parents and other government assistance programs. Apart from this, she earns no direct income.

Talking about her savings, Leida revealed that she has only $20 in her savings account and $500 in her checking account. Additionally, she has just $200 in cash on hand. Her monthly bills include a $300 car note for her Audi. Furthermore, Leida owes $10,000 in loans. She even has a $750 credit card debt that she pays monthly.

Leida pays $75 per month to her credit card company. The former reality TV star emphasizes that she is not in a great financial situation. She also requested the court to waive the fees associated with her divorce petition. On July 27, after seven years of marriage, she officially filed for divorce. While she worked at her previous company, authorities accused her of fraud and theft.

This may contribute to the fact that she remains unemployed, even after months. Leida is currently in prison, and only time will tell if the court will waive her fees or if she will receive any financial assistance. Currently, she does not appear financially stable and definitely needs to get a job as soon as possible.
