The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) ghost may linger and give Scott Clifton a way to stick around after his character’s demise. Things look bleak for Liam, but this could be a good strategy to soften the blow of losing him.

The evidence is mounting when it comes to Liam’s storyline being a truly fatal exit. Of course, that’s devastating news for Scott Clifton fans!

Plenty of B&B viewers hate to see Clifton go – and that’s no doubt true for his fellow cast members as well.

Clifton is a popular actor who’s become a staple on the CBS soap, so the thought of a Liam-less B&B is hard to think about.

Fortunately, the show doesn’t have to get rid of Liam completely.

Even if Liam perishes due to his inoperable brain tumor or perhaps a shocking Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) rescue, that doesn’t mean he has to be gone permanently.

There are certainly ways of keeping people around on daytime dramas, even those who have passed on.

It’d be easy for Clifton to keep making appearances as Liam’s ghost for many years to come.

Liam has already promised that he’ll always be with Steffy, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras) and Beth Spencer (Jordyn Grace).

Although Liam may not be there physically, he’ll forever be in the hearts of his loved ones.

That could lead to episodes where Liam shows up in spirt form to guide Steffy and Hope when things get tough.

As the girls get older, Liam could appear to Beth and Kelly, too.

Kelly and Beth will be navigating their difficult teenage years before you know it.

That’s especially true on daytime dramas since SORAS – or Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome – is so common.

Even Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) might need ghostly visits from Liam sooner or later.

Liam seems to have gotten wiser now that he’s preparing to face a grim fate.

Maybe Liam will save some of that wisdom for future appearances if his spirit pops up to offer advice.

How would you feel about Liam appearing as a ghost for return visits? If Liam really passes away as expected, it’d at least be a way to keep seeing him!
