General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of July 7-11 hint that someone unsavory is trying to frame Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for the death of boozy Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue). What is it in her autopsy that signals mayhem? Here’s what we know!
The GH weekly promo for the week of July 7-11 showed Sonny with Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis), and PCPD’s Anna Devane (Finola Hughes)—not a good look.
The three are in the interrogation room at the PCPD and Anna reports that Natalia’s autopsy results are in. Cue the dramatic music: Dum-de-dum-dum-dum!
Did Natalia Die a Natural Death?
Also in the preview for the week of July 7 we see Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) tell his dad, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota): “Sonny can’t get away with this,” and Sidwell barking “He won’t.” Ruh roh.
Will Natalia’s demise, coupled with the explosion at Charlie’s Pub, result in war between Sonny and Sidwell?
Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) could have died in the fire, and we hope she finally gets what it means to bring about someone’s death. Talk about karma.
Sonny is Innocent!
Natalia died after downing pills and alcohol, and she is a repeat DUI offender. As a result, ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) offered her a deal to turn on mobster Sonny.
Natalia told Sonny, and he offered her a new life in Belize as a reward. Sadly, she sought comfort in substances after realizing she was to go there solo. Next, Marco told her this meant that Sonny planned to off her.
Marco was wrong, he doesn’t know how “good-hearted” Sonny is! So, if the autopsy shows a hint of murder, Marco will assume Sonny is guilty.
Marco Doesn’t Know Sonny
We predict that Sonny is being framed for Natalia’s murder, maybe by Sidwell. It’s likely he has the means to bribe a judge, a hospital employee, or someone at the PCPD (but not Anna because she’s squeaky clean).
However, Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) also dislikes Sonny, could the city councilman be behind the tampering? And then there is ADA Turner herself who is not above the law although she thinks that she is.
This week Sonny could be in a fight to save his life, as we embark on a massive whodunit!
