Nick Newman’s Escape Plan
During the week of July 14, fans can expect Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to end up in a dangerous situation. We know from the weekly preview clip that someone watches Cane drug Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers).
Cane doesn’t seem aware that someone is watching him, which we presume is Nick. That is because in the preview clip, Phyllis corners Nick right by a hedge.
Nick is acting nervous and claims nothing is wrong, but Phyllis can sense otherwise. Maybe Nick rushes off, then Cane looks up to see Phyllis? Later in the week, Nick comes up with an escape plan.
Chance Chancellor’s Murder Investigation
The Young and the Restless spoilers for next week reveal that someone will be murdered at Cane’s party.
Cane already had Chance come because he was convinced there would be a murder attempt on him. He couldn’t say by whom, though.
Chance will require that everyone stay until he solves the crime. However, who is the person who dies? From the preview clip, we know that Chance discusses the crime with certain characters, so they are safe.
Those characters are Nick, Phyllis, Sharon, Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway), Devon, and Victor. Later, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) questions Cane’s motives.

Fans will also see Amanda strike a deal. Could the lawyer start to turn on Cane? Meanwhile, Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) world is turned upside down.
Later, she delivers damning evidence to Chance. It is also teased that Devon Winters (Bryton James) connects the dots. When confronted, Cane is forced to defend himself.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) works to protect his family’s interests. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) teaches Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) a valuable but painful lesson.
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) cross the line. That doesn’t sound good for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) or Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin)!
Also, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) takes matters into her own hands to help protect Nick. Sharon tries to make a deal with Phyllis, but it totally backfired. Will Sharon end up going too far, though?
