The Young And The Restless Spoilers indicate that a double murder mystery could be in the works. Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) is sharing a drink with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) when he suddenly drops dead. Will Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) join him when he comes too close to the truth about the killer?
Chance Chancellor Investigates A Murder
The preview video for the week of July 14 through July 18 shows Damien asking Cane if he is planning on killing him when he seems to be poisoned.
Afterward, Chance is questioning everyone on the island about a murder. Chance is asked if all of them are suspects. Is Chance putting his life in danger?
One person suspiciously missing is Damien, is he the murder victim or is there someone else who has been killed? Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) seemed to be surprised by the murder.
However, she doesn’t appear to be distraught over what has happened. Lily and Damien had become very close, has she now lost him to a random murder?
Someone Is Lurking In The Shadows
We know that eventually someone will be seen lurking in the shadows with a knife. However, Lily may believed that Damien died of natural causes since he was clearly talking to Cane when he collapsed.
If Damien was poisoned, this leaves someone else open to be stabbed later on. This person could easily be Chance.
Someone lurking around with a knife certainly suggests that there could be two fatalities instead of just one.
Chance was not even supposed to be on this trip which makes it more likely that he could be the second fatality. This certainly makes one wonder if there is only one, or actually two killers involved.
Connor Floyd Has Already Exited The Show
Chance is going to do his best to solve this case, however, we know Connor Floyd has already left the show and is filming on Days of Our Lives.
Knowing this, Chance is likely to go out with a bang, or at least a stab. With all the drama about Chance going back to the force, this is the most likely exit route for him.
Chance’s survival is not guaranteed, especially with Floyd’s exit looming. Will Chance be sent off to a hospital until the character can be recast or will Chance die in a case of mistaken identity?
Chance could easily be mistaken for Cane, if he is the actual target. Unfortunately, Chance may end up being killed because he gets way too close to the truth.
