The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers hint that hunky waffler Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) puts his reunion with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) on ice for a very good reason—his fiancé Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig).
What a mess. Ridge has waffled between these two ladies for DECADES and they have allowed it.
At one point they dumped his designer bupkis to the curb and became besties. That didn’t last long and as of now Ridge is still playing both ends against the middle. Is there anyone worth rooting for in this middle age dumpster fire?
Brooke Has to Wait
In case you missed it, Brooke was making like a mermaid when she fell off of Nick Marone’s (Jack Wagner) flashy boat in Naples. Luckily, Ridge jumped into the ocean and saved her and her voluminous dress.
Almost losing his Logan shook Ridge like a hurricane. He gave her mouth to mouth resuscitation after dragging her to the shore (who cares how Nick fares) and then they kissed passionately. Because sea water is the best aphrodisiac.
Ridge did CPR on Brooke
It looked like the two were back on their path to destiny, but how will Ridge react when he’s back in LA and back to reality?
Ridge gave Taylor Broken Heart Syndrome and he’s got to be sweating bullets knowing that she could go out of remission.
Can Ridge Man Up?
We predict that once Ridge sees Taylor, she will bombard him with love and wedding plans. She comes on strong and even mentions how Brooke has no choice but to move on all by herself.
Given her fervor, Ridge finds it hard to break her heart all over again, and we can understand why. But how will Brooke take the news that he didn’t immediately tell her to pack her bags and get out of Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) mansion? We’re guessing not well.
Ridge Disappoints Brooke
No doubt Ridge realizes that he must let Taylor down easy. His sentiment is not purely one of compassion, but also one of self-preservation!
So, while Ridge and Brooke have reunited, they will go behind Taylor’s back for a while. Will Brooke be happy about being kept in the shadows?
