With Natalia no longer in Sonny’s life and Carly’s world about to implode when she learns what Brennan did to Joss, General Hospital fans think the soap is hinting at a CarSon reunion.
Are Carly and Sonny Endgame?
Sonny (Maurice Benard) kidnapping Marco (Adrian Anchondo) was a final straw for Lucas (Van Hansis). He’s now pitted against his sister, who’s forever tied to the mob boss. And it was one line of Carly’s (Laura Wright) that got fans speculating.
When Carly recently admitted to Sonny that he’ll always be in her life whether Lucas likes it or not, CarSon shippers noticed a hint of spark returning between the former supercouple.
“‘For Carly to dismiss my relationship with Marco for Sonny?’ Well you’ve known Marco for what a couple months? And Carly has known Sonny for 20+ years,” one fan on X (formerly Twitter) defended Carly, while another agreed, “With everything Sonny and Carly have gone through and supported each other, they will never stop being each other’s person.”
In all caps, one passionate shipper shared, “CARSON IS WHERE RATINGS ARE AT,” while another hoped, “But but… I thought they were killing off Jack so that CarSon could be together,” referring to Chris McKenna’s Brennan.
Even Benard chimed into the discourse, replying to one CarSon fan with a lighthearted, “Carly has a man can Sonny just have some fun for a second?”
Sonny can certainly have some fun being single for a change, but when it all goes down with Brennan, it may be Sonny who’s there to pick up the pieces for Carly, like he always is.
