Remembering Tristan Rogers: Robert Scorpio’s Top 5 GH Moments
Robert will be forever missed in Port Charles.

Since 1980, Tristan Rogers made history on General Hospital as legendary character Robert Scorpio. Rogers appeared in his final GH scene in July before the news of his passing broke over the weekend. To honor Rogers’ legacy in Port Charles, let’s look back at the top 5 best Robert moments.
5. Robert Finds Robin (2012)
After Robin (Kimberly McCullough) was presumed dead in the lab explosion in 2012, it took months for Anna (Finola Hughes) and Robert to learn she may be alive. When they arrived at Swiss clinic, they discovered that Duke (Ian Buchanan) was alive and being held there.
But it was while Anna reunited with her long-lost love that Robert snooped around and found Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) about to experiment on Robin. Only he saw his daughter, and before he could alert Anna, he was stuck with a syringe by Obrecht and fell into a coma while attempting to save Robin.
4. Robert Reunites With Mac (1991)
When the ELQ ship blew up in 1991, Robert was there to save stragglers in the water. When he noticed a man trying to get to the dock, he helped him up, only to then push him back in. When Anna asked who the man was, Robert only said, “My brother,” GH’s way of introducing Mac (John J. York) to Port Charles.
The brothers had a rocky relationship at first, but the two eventually came around, and when both Robert and Anna were later presumed dead, it was Mac who stepped up to take care of a teenage Robin.
3. Robert’s First Scenes (1980)
When Robert first came to Port Charles, his introduction was alongside none other than Lucky Spencer (Anthony Geary). The 1980 episode saw Luke — yet to save the world from the Ice Princess — come home to find a mysterious man sitting in his living room holding a gun.
That mystery man was Robert, his Australian accent full of quick wit as he tried to get information out of Luke, then would later turn into one of his best friends.
2. Reunited With Holly (2024)
The last couple of years, Robert found himself in a romance with Diane (Carolyn Hennesy). But he couldn’t keep his mind off of his true love, Holly (Emma Samms), who he later learned he had an adult daughter with.
When Holly returned to Port Charles in 2024, Robert made a major decision. Rather than seeing Holly off yet again, this time around, he joined her. The two went off into the sunset together when they boarded a jet, a moment that would act as one of Rogers’ final scenes on the show.
1. Robert Learns Robin Is His Daughter (1985)
Arguably one of Robert’s biggest storylines, in 1985, after reuniting with Anna, he put the pieces together about a 6-year-old Robin, who was going by the last name Soltini. But when Robert questioned Anna about if Robin’s last name should truly be Scorpio, she didn’t disagree.
The realization led Robert to know he had a daughter, but it wouldn’t be until Robin was a teenager that she reunited with him and learned he was her father.
