Wow! Bold & Beautiful Just Set the Scene for a Do-Over of One of Its Most Controversial Storylines *Ever*

Thanks to some very telling sneak peeks, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist, or even a seasoned soap viewer, to figure out that Luna’s going to show up at Will’s party at Il Giardino. Bold & Beautiful spoilers indicate that Luna gives Sheila and Li the slip, and we then see Luna holding a mask and wearing a dark wig and glasses in the weekly preview.

If you’re a longtime Bold & Beautiful fan, you may have already had the sense that there’s something oddly familiar about this whole set-up. If not, buckle up for an eye-opening trip back in time!

Back when Hope was graduating from high school, she was involved with a sweet guy named Oliver. Much like Electra, she was inexperienced sexually, but hinting that she’d be “ready” soon to take things to the next level. Oliver, like Will, was waiting patiently and absolutely devoted to his girl. Then… a party was planned.

Hope’s graduation was a big event, with music star Daddy Yankee set to perform on the big night. Conveniently, all the guests wore identical white masks. Why do we say “conveniently”? Because, it’s all the better to mistake someone for someone else… and boy, did they ever.

To make a long story short, Brooke and Ridge thought it would be a giggle to crash Hope’s bash. At some point, Brooke decided it would be a terrific idea to find Ridge and have sex with him at her daughter’s graduation party. Except, she mistook Oliver for Ridge and got intimate with Hope’s young boyfriend instead. Oliver, for his part, thought Brooke was Hope showing him she was finally “ready”… and, well, it ended as disastrously as you’d imagine.

It’s not hard, then, to see how Bold & Beautiful has laid the groundwork for a do-over of this controversial storyline… with a slight variation. The twist? Luna will almost certainly deceive Will on purpose. We’re calling it now: Luna will have sex with Will at the party whilst dressed in a wig (dark hair like Electra’s) and mask, and he’ll think it’s his girlfriend, who has decided she’s “ready”. As with Hope and Oliver, the devastating truth will come out after the fact and blow everything up. Indeed, teasers have Will trying to “put the pieces together” by Thursday of this week.
