How Far Will Kristen Go to Protect Rachel After August 21 DAYS?

And why it will be the best for everyone.

On the August 21 episode of Days of our Lives, Kristen made it clear to EJ that Rachel should never, ever be forced to take responsibility for her actions. She is too fragile and delicate, and admitting that she tried to kill her uncle might make her feel bad about herself.

Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) refuses to let that happen, no matter whom she has to sacrifice as a result. EJ (Dan Feuerriegel), on the other hand, isn’t about to let Kristen throw Johnny (Carson Boatman) under the bus, no matter how much he might care about Rachel (Alice Halsey), too. So he’s given her until before Johnny’s verdict is in to try and figure out some way to fix this for both of them. Well, guess what, Krissy? The verdict is in. So think fast. Here’s what we expect to happen.

I’d Give My Life For You

Kristen is a killer, a criminal, and a lunatic. But she does love her daughter. Well, she thinks she does.

Kristen just happens to believe that allowing Rachel to do anything she wants without ever being punished or even reprimanded is the best way to express her love. Alas, the city of Salem now has to pay for all that love.

I Confess

Kristen wanted EJ to sacrifice his son for her daughter. EJ said, “No, thanks.” Johnny is about to hear his fate, and if Kristen doesn’t want EJ to admit he finally remembered that Rachel shot him, then she better step up and do… something.

There really is only one thing for Kristen to do at this point. She has to confess herself. This frees Johnny and keeps Rachel safe. As a bonus, she might even go to prison and leave Rachel’s upbringing to Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Marlena (Deidre Hall). Who would do a much better job, and maybe even keep Rachel from following in her felonious mother’s footsteps?
