Kelly Thiebaud Reveals Her Challenge Rebuilding Her Life at General Hospital

Kelly Thiebaud is back at General Hospital and rebuilding her life. “The Britch” is settling in, though she did admit getting back into the swing of things wasn’t as easy as she thought it would be. A lot is happening right now, and Thiebaud is dealing with things as they come.

Kelly Thiebaud Came Full Circle to Land Back at GH

While speaking with ABC 11 in the General Hospital Spotlight, Thiebaud revealed what led her back to GH.

During the stint where Britt “died,” Thiebaud met someone living abroad in London. They quickly fell in love, and she believed he was her “person.” That started her move, which included selling everything and getting out of her place.

Thiebaud revealed that it was a traumatic experience, but didn’t elaborate. However, she did acknowledge that living abroad was amazing. Missing London is a big deal for her, but she is back stateside for now.

Thiebaud is ‘Rebuilding’ Her Life

The most significant focal point is rebuilding her life after what happened in London. However, she is thankful that things are moving in the right direction and that she is back working at GH.

Thiebaud revealed that she wasn’t sure her Port Charles resurrection would happen, but she is grateful it did.

It’s unclear how long she signed a contract for, as she stated she was initially hesitant about signing a contract with GH because she is a free spirit and enjoys traveling. However, following her first contract, which was a year-long, she did sign on for three more years.

Stepping back into the role of Britt wasn’t easy, and Thiebaud found her reunion with Steve Burton as Jason to be “difficult.” She wasn’t on her A-game right out of the door and would have liked more time to be up to speed.
