90 Day Fiance: Leida Margaretha Could Spend Years In Jail For Identity Theft After Baby’s Tragic Passing
90 Day Fiance alum Leida Margaretha has been hit with two new serious criminal charges related to identity theft. The charges come months after the tragic death of her daughter, Alisa Eleanor Rosenbrook, on July 9, 2025, who had been on life support for five days. The reality star allegedly used funds from her part-time employer to pay her personal bills. She also used the funds for business expenses related to a co-owned business, Proud American Logistics. A detective from the Portage Police Department is investigating the case.

The company executives, when speaking to the detective, stated that Leida was a temporary worker who assisted them with bookkeeping. The executive team suspected that Margaretha was also misusing the company’s bank account. They further stated that the company did not permit Leida to use customers’ bank accounts. Investigators later found that she had processed all the company’s checks, raising concerns that she could have obtained customer details.
According to court records, the first warning sign was a $500 charge to the company bank account for the convenience store Kwik Trip. Later, it led to a second transaction with Kwik Trip. When the company contacted Kwik Trip’s officers, they discovered that Proud American Logistics had made the two illegal payments. Another staff member said Margaretha ran a company with the same name.
Margaretha, when questioned by an officer about the allegations made, gave several excuses and claimed it must have been a “mix-up.” She continued to insist it was a mix-up. Leida revealed that she had obtained the company’s information from a piece of paper, as per reports, before finally admitting her mistake. She said she needed to fix it. She also added that the officers were not wrong for asking her about the Kwik Trip transactions.
Authorities finally arrested the reality star on October 6, 2023, after she admitted to taking work documents without permission. The authorities also found a few additional folded pieces of paper in her bag, which contained routing numbers and account information for various businesses. According to prosecutors, she used the banking info she obtained to make illegal transactions at another company. Margaretha might face upto six years of jail time if found guilty.
