The TLC couple is in pre-martial counseling ahead of their wedding.
Baylen Out Loud star Baylen Dupree shut down her fiancé, Colin Dooley, after he asked her doctor a question about pregnancy.
Ahead of the Tuesday, Dec. 9 episode, TLC shared a sneak peek with Parade of the engaged couple discussing the prospect of having children.
“I actually do have one more question,” Dooley said toward the end of an appointment with Dupree’s physician. “If we plan on having a family and having kids, the medications that she’s on right now, how is that going to affect her during pregnancy if she would have to get off any, or get on new ones.”
Dupree lives with Tourette syndrome and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and she takes medication to help her manage her symptoms.
“It’s definitely something we can talk about and think a lot about, but the meds that you’re on, I think, are OK,” the therapist replied.
To that, Dupree patted Dooley’s leg and told him, “No more baby questions.”
In a confession with producers, he explained, “Baylen had said that she’s done having the conversation about kids. But I wasn’t bringing it up to her, I was bringing it up to the doctor. And it wasn’t about kids, it was about being pregnant. So, a little bit different.”
Dupree then mockingly exclaimed, “Oh, yeah! Huge difference!”
She then declared, “Sometimes, it’s just like, ‘No means no.’”
In addition to visiting Dupree’s doctor together, the engaged couple has been going to pre-marital counseling ahead of their wedding, at her parents’ suggestion.
