The rumours about Mike Wolfe being sentenced or jailed are not true. There is no record of him being charged with a crime, sentenced, or linked to any situation that would suggest he has been arrested. The confusion appears to stem from unrelated cases involving a different man named Michael John Wolfe. This person, a fifty-two-year-old from Oregon, was jailed in 2019 for the murder of his wife and son.

Mike Wolfe and his girlfriend, Leticia Cline, were involved in a fatal accident in September 2025 in Tennessee. Mike sustained injuries, including heavy bruises and a broken nose. He was stitched up and discharged from the hospital a day after the crush.
Cline’s injuries were far more severe. Her side of the car absorbed most of the impact as Wolfe attempted to swerve away from an oncoming vehicle. She spent four days in the hospital with a dislocated jaw, broken in three places, a broken sternum, broken ribs, a collapsed lung, and spinal bruising. During her stay, she underwent one procedure, followed by major surgery on 22 September.
The operation left her with a wired jaw and a long recovery ahead. She has continued to rehabilitate with Wolfe by her side. At the time of the accident, Wolfe had been driving an old Porsche 356.
On 1 October, Main Street Maury reported that 76-year-old Lerone Heads had been charged with DUI, vehicular assault, and failure to yield, which resulted in serious injury. Cline later explained that an SUV pulled out from a side street, giving them little time to react.
After spending months off social media, Cline returned to TikTok on 2 December and stated that she would appear in court the next day to give her victim statement. She noted that her speech was still limited, but she had a lot to express. In another comment, she told a fan that she had been hit by a drunk driver on 12 September and had suffered a broken jaw in three places, along with several chest injuries.
What happened between Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz?

Who would have ever dreamed we would share the cockpit of a white cargo van in front of millions of people interested in our adventures. Before the show we would take off together to places we never knew existed with no destination in mind and just the shared passion to discover something interesting and historic. We’ve been on countless trips and shared so many miles and I feel blessed that I was there by his side when he took one last journey home. I love you buddy and will miss you so much I know your in a better place
