General Hospital Has Yet to Reveal the Biggest Shock About Sam’s Death

The week ahead promises to be a difficult one for fans of General Hospital leading lady Kelly Monaco and her character. As Sam McCall’s friends and family gather for the deceased’s funeral, emotions will be running high. And viewers may have to be prepared for one last shock, arguably the biggest of them all.
We’re all expecting a twist, something that says that Sam would’ve been fine after donating part of her liver to Lulu Spencer, had it not been for foul play. We’re anticipating there being someone to blame, so that justice can be served. We’re predicting an OMG! moment that gives us closure.

But it appears that the daytime drama is going to surprise us by not jolting us yet again, by letting Sam go to her grave as so many people do, as a result of surgery. It does happen. That’s why our doctors warn us each time we go under the knife, even for a routine procedure.

Will such a non-turn of events be a letdown? In a way, yes. Sam’s death should be surrounded by the same kind of drama that shadowed her life. But in a way, no, too. Because do any of us want to walk around believing that someone took steps to put Sam in the grave?
