Danielle Colby Goes Burlesque: Leopard Pasties and String Lingerie in New Social Post

Danielle Colby — known to many as the vivacious co-star of History Channel’s long-running series American Pickers — posted a burlesque-style photo that shows her wearing leopard-print pasties and thong-style lingerie. The image, shared on her Instagram account, generated a flurry of responses from followers.
The post arrives months after Colby announced in December 2025 that American Pickers would not continue. With the show over after 27 seasons, she has increasingly spotlighted other creative pursuits, including burlesque performances and the development of her Ecdysiast Arts Museum.

Context and the post’s message
In the caption accompanying the photo, Colby mentioned work on her museum and offered a personal note about a friend: “I’ve been working tirelessly on the museum and am feeling so excited for our progress, especially right now. I found these incredible photos of my friend upon her last visit.”
She named the friend — a movement specialist and pole veteran from Puerto Rico — and wrote about their mutual support over the years: “We have held each other up during very dark times over the years and we continue to. I’m missing my dear one @y.ulietta I hope to hug you soon.”

How fans responded
Followers reacted quickly on social media. Comments ranged from admiration for the shoot — “Wowwwwww stunning” — to more effusive praise such as “You are FIRE!” Several fans called the images among her best.
Colby has shared similar photography in the past, including a recent shoot where she posed with a gold vintage dress that covered her strategically while still emphasizing the aesthetic of classic pin-up and burlesque imagery.

Where things stand now
Colby publicly confirmed the end of American Pickers in December 2025 and described the change as a “transition.” In video remarks posted at the time she said, “I just found out that American Pickers is done!” and acknowledged that the show had provided financial support that she would now have to replace, calling the period ahead “a wild one” that will require a do-it-yourself approach.
She has signalled that the Ecdysiast Arts Museum will be a primary focus going forward and has invited followers to follow the process and updates as the project progresses.
“Now I just kind of have to mentally shift and figure out how to do this, completely DIY.”
The post, along with her recent photographic work and public comments, suggest Colby is leaning into the creative and entrepreneurial parts of her career as she moves beyond the pickers series.
