Every ‘Survivor’ Winner: Where Are They Now?
Across nearly 50 seasons and 751 contestants, Survivor has delivered dramatic blindsides, improbable comebacks and memorable characters. In honor of the show’s milestone 50th season, we revisit every winner — their defining moments on the islands and the paths they followed afterward. Below you’ll find each Sole Survivor in chronological order, with where they’ve landed since claiming the million-dollar prize.

Season 1, Borneo: Richard Hatch
The original Sole Survivor became one of reality TV’s earliest controversial figures. After competing again on Survivor: All‑Stars, he faced legal troubles for failing to report his prize and served a prison sentence. He later appeared on other reality shows and lived in Newport, Rhode Island.

Season 2, Australian Outback: Tina Wesson
Survivor’s first female winner returned for All‑Stars and later competed on Blood vs. Water. After her early success, she built a cabin in North Carolina and has taught occasional survival classes.

Season 3, Africa: Ethan Zohn
Ethan returned to All‑Stars and Winners at War. Since leaving the islands he’s been active in philanthropy — co‑founding Grassroot Soccer — worked as a keynote speaker and inventor, and survived cancer twice.

Season 4, Marquesas: Vecepia Towery
Vecepia became the first African‑American Sole Survivor. She later worked in healthcare as a patient experience administrator in California and became a certified life coach, with a recent on‑screen appearance on The Price Is Right in 2025.

Season 5, Thailand: Brian Heidik
Remembered as one of the game’s villains, Brian kept a lower profile after his win, focusing on family and charity work while working as a used car salesman in Southern California.

Season 6, The Amazon: Jenna Morasca
The youngest woman to win the game, Jenna returned for All‑Stars and later competed on The Amazing Race. She now works as a veterinary nurse in Pennsylvania.

Seasons 7 & 20, Pearl Islands & Heroes vs. Villains: Sandra Diaz‑Twine
Sandra made history as the show’s first two‑time Sole Survivor after winning Seasons 7 and 20. Widely regarded as one of the best players ever, she later settled in North Carolina and focused on family life while occasionally returning to competition, including The Traitors in 2024.

Season 8, All‑Stars: Amber Mariano (née Brkich)
Amber won All‑Stars and became engaged to fellow contestant Rob Mariano during the live finale. She returned for Winners at War and competed on The Amazing Race twice with Rob. The couple live in Florida with their four daughters.

Season 9, Vanuatu: Chris Daugherty
After winning, Chris returned to regular life in South Vienna, Ohio, using his prize to build a home for his family and remaining out of the spotlight.

Season 10, Palau: Tom Westman
Tom tied the record for individual immunity wins in a season and later appeared on Heroes vs. Villains. After retiring from firefighting he worked in insurance.

Season 11, Guatemala: Danni Boatwright
After her win, Danni returned for Winners at War and later appeared on other game shows. She now hosts a podcast and spent time modeling.

Season 12, Panama: Aras Baskauskas
Aras returned for Blood vs. Water with his brother and later stepped back from TV life. He lives in Santa Monica with his family and has a clothing line.

Season 13, Cook Islands: Yul Kwon
The first Asian American Sole Survivor, Yul returned for Winners at War and pursued a career in public service and business — from running a frozen yogurt chain to serving at the FCC.

Season 14, Fiji: Earl Cole
Earl was the first unanimous winner. He founded a nonprofit (pertheskids.org), appeared on Snake in the Grass, and promoted an airless bicycle‑tire company on Shark Tank.

Season 15, China: Todd Herzog
Todd returned to TV multiple times and now makes custom collectibles, including Funko Pop! figures, while cohosting the podcast Beyond the Torch with Leslie Nease. He married Jess Hermansen in 2020.

Season 16, Micronesia: Parvati Shallow
Parvati became a defining figure in Survivor lore. She won Australia v. The World in 2025, placed highly on other returnee seasons, and wrote the bestselling book Nice Girls Don’t Win.

Season 17, Gabon: Bob Crowley
At 57 Bob became the oldest Sole Survivor. He published an autobiography, opened a winter camp in Maine, and runs an annual Survivor‑themed charity event there.

Season 18, Tocantins: JT Thomas
JT’s “perfect game” is well remembered. He later returned to other seasons, used his winnings to support family, and officiated his wedding with fellow castmate Stephen Fishbach as the officiant.

Season 19, Samoa: Natalie White
Natalie’s quiet but strategic play led to a controversial victory. Since her season, she has kept a low public profile.

Season 21, Nicaragua: Jud “Fabio” Birza
At 21 Jud became the youngest winner. He pursued acting, appeared in several films, and has since started a family.

Season 22, Redemption Island: Boston Rob
A franchise legend, Rob is a five‑time contestant who eventually won Redemption Island. He met his wife Amber on the show and has continued to appear on reality TV, including The Traitors in 2025.

Season 23, South Pacific: Sophie Clarke
Sophie returned for Winners at War and now works in healthcare strategy — most recently as Chief Strategy Officer at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts — while raising a family in Cambridge.

Season 24, One World: Kim Spradlin
Kim returned for Winners at War and was inducted into the Survivor Hall of Fame. She later hosted HGTV’s Why the Heck Did I Buy This House? and focuses on home design with her family.

Season 25, Philippines: Denise Stapley
Denise’s social strategy earned her the win. After returning for Winners at War she became a licensed mental health therapist in Iowa and is one of the state’s few AASECT‑certified sex therapists.

Season 26, Caramoan: John Cochran
After winning Caramoan, Cochran transitioned to a TV writing career — credits include The Millers and Kevin Can Wait — and worked as a co‑producer and writer on Star Trek: Lower Decks.

Season 27, Blood vs. Water: Tyson Apostol
Once labeled a villain, Tyson ultimately won with a strategic game. He hosts The Pod Has Spoken podcast and has appeared on various reality series since his victory.

Seasons 28 & 40, Cagayan & Winners at War: Tony Vlachos
Tony is the second two‑time Sole Survivor, winning Cagayan and Winners at War. Ranked among Jeff Probst’s top players, he has appeared on The Traitors and remains a New Jersey police officer.

Season 29, Blood vs. Water: Natalie Anderson
Natalie won with quiet but effective social play. She later finished runner‑up in Winners at War and works as a CrossFit trainer in New Jersey while remaining active in reality‑TV circles.

Season 30, Worlds Apart: Mike Holloway
Mike matched the record for immunity wins in a season and later became a commercial real estate agent. He married Meg Maley, a Big Brother alum, in 2021.

Season 31, Cambodia: Jeremy Collins
Jeremy won Cambodia, served as a firefighter and remains active in media — co‑hosting On Fire with Jeff Probst for Season 49 — while raising a family in Massachusetts.

Season 32, Kaôh Rōng: Michele Fitzgerald
Michele won without ever facing Tribal Council pre‑merge and later appeared on multiple seasons of The Challenge. She lives in Hoboken, New Jersey.

Season 33, Millennials vs. Gen X: Adam Klein
Adam parlayed his win into motivational speaking and media work, producing a travel show and launching the #LiveLikeSusie campaign for lung cancer research.

Season 34, Game Changers: Sarah Lacina
Sarah won Game Changers and continued competing successfully on The Challenge franchises. She lives in Iowa with her husband and son.

Season 35, Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers: Ben Driebergen
Ben returned for Winners at War and later took part in The Challenge franchises before stepping back to family life; he now lives in Idaho as a stay‑at‑home dad.

Season 36, Ghost Island: Wendell Holland
After winning the season that ended in a historic tie, Wendell joined the design team for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and works in hospitality while hosting Survivor watch parties for fans.

Season 37, David vs. Goliath: Nick Wilson
Nick parlayed his platform into public service and now serves in the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing the 82nd District.

Season 38, Edge of Extinction: Chris Underwood
Chris returned to the game from Edge of Extinction and won despite a short final stint. He later won The Challenge: USA Season 2 and works in remote sales in South Carolina.

Season 39, Island of the Idols: Tommy Sheehan
Tommy’s social game led to his victory. He later appeared on The Challenge and now works as a fourth‑grade teacher after marrying in 2022.

Season 41: Erika Casupanan
The first Canadian Sole Survivor, Erika became a keynote speaker and hosts the podcast Happy to See Me. She also appeared on The Traitors Canada.

Season 42: Maryanne Oketch
Maryanne became the second Black woman to win Survivor and went on to attend medical school in Ontario while hosting TVO Today’s video series Nerds on Health Care.

Season 43: Mike Gabler
Mike won nearly unanimously and donated 100% of his $1 million prize to Veteran organizations. He works as a heart valve specialist and lives in Idaho with his family.

Season 44: Yamil “Yam Yam” Arocho
Yam Yam, the first Puerto Rican winner, returned to competitive TV and continues to run Miranda Beauty salon in Puerto Rico, where he lives with his husband.

Season 45: Dee Valladares
Dee returned for Survivor 50 and co‑hosted On Fire with Jeff Probst for Season 46. She is an entrepreneur and influencer based in Miami and has appeared on The Challenge: Vets and New Threats.

Season 46: Kenzie Petty
Kenzie was the first woman to win the fire‑making tiebreaker and later claimed the title of Sole Survivor in 2024. She owns a salon in Charlotte and shares family life updates on social media.

Season 47: Rachel LaMont
Rachel set a record for immunity wins by a woman during her season and later co‑hosted On Fire with Jeff Probst. She co‑founded Play Resolve and designed the game Puzzle Hungry.

Season 48: Kyle Fraser
Kyle credited a secret alliance for his win and later returned for Survivor 50 before suffering a leg injury. He is a defense attorney in Brooklyn and and is expecting his first child in May 2026.

Season 49: Savannah Louie
Savannah won in December 2025 and played back‑to‑back on Survivor 50. She matched the record for most individual immunity wins by a woman and now works as a marketing specialist in Atlanta.
