The once-pro athlete was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in 2003. After a handful of years in the Minor Leagues, he dazzled fans by making his Major League debut in 2007. While he missed the 2008 postseason roster, he proudly earned a World Series ring that same year as part of the team.

Kyle’s journey with the Phillies lasted until 2014 before he signed a one-year deal with the Colorado Rockies in 2015.
