The latest shocking turn in Survivor 50 has fans buzzing, because Aubry Bracco appears to be stepping out of the shadows and into the spotlight at exactly the right time.

Okay, people. This is not a drill. The moment fans have been waiting for all season is finally here. Aubry Bracco looks ready to kick into high gear in episode 9 of Survivor 50, “I Deserve All of This,” and viewers are about to see a much clearer picture of what she can really do in this game.
As the fallout from the combined double elimination continues, a new sneak peek suggests Aubry is wasting no time letting the shake-up settle. And in classic Aubry fashion — something fans have seen her do again and again — she leans into her strategic social game by connecting with the player left on the outside. Take a look below.
In the clip, Aubry tells Jonathan Young — whose game essentially imploded last week — that she is not tied to Rick Devens in any way and even prefers not to work with the “brains,” the label she was given during her original season, Survivor: Koah Rong. Jonathan, likely feeling isolated and vulnerable, unknowingly gives Aubry exactly the opening she needs: the chance to make the person who needs support most feel like she is the one following his lead. That is a dangerous skill.
As a longtime fan of Aubry’s game, seeing her step into the spotlight in the next episode is both exciting and nerve-wracking. When Aubry starts making noise this late in the season, it usually means one of two things: she is about to pull off something major, or she is about to go out in dramatic fashion.
Still, based on how Aubry has navigated the game so far — adapting wherever necessary to fit her tribe and the people around her — she has already reinvented herself several times this season, and she has used those relationships to outlast a major threat. Who’s to say she cannot do it again? Her latest style of gameplay also feels like an interesting contrast to fan favorite Cirie Fields. While Cirie has been building a highly visible social game, Aubry seems to be creating quieter, less obvious bonds, much like Kamilla Karthigesu did in Survivor 48.
Could that set up a real Aubry-versus-Cirie showdown, similar to the clash I expect to see between Ozzy Lusth and Rizo Velovic at some point? As much as it hurts to say it, this season is nearing its end, and the tension at Tribal Council is only going to rise from here. Last week was just the beginning.
