“In good old Moira style, she gets her shotgun and goes to visit Joe,” shares Natalie J Robb, who plays her. “At that point, she’s going round there to kill him.
“She has the shotgun – she makes him sit down and tries to get him to confess. Joe attempts to play dumb, but she knows it’s all down to him.
Robert finally tells Moira the truth after she goes above and beyond to help him at Butlers Farm.
Cain despairs as Moira prioritises showing Robert the ropes over building up their new ‘Dingle farm’, compounding Robert’s guilt.
Moira senses that his behaviour is off and pushes for details, which is when he finally breaks down and tells her the whole sorry tale.
“Moira is really hurt because she didn’t think that of Robert, she thought he’d turned a corner and changed as a person,” says Natalie. “Then he admits it was down to Joe and that he had to protect Victoria.”
“Moira goes to Home Farm to kill Joe. She’s so angry in that split second that she doesn’t care about ending up back in prison,” continues Natalie.
“Joe kept her away from her children, and Cain had to deal with the cancer on his own. She thinks, ‘Really? Are you really that horrible and cruel? That greedy? It’s all about power!'”
It looks as though Joe could pay the ultimate price for his treachery as Moira points the gun and prepares to take her revenge – until Graham Foster chances upon the ugly scene.
Will he help Joe live to scheme another day?
