Shocking Emmerdale Update: Isabel Hodgins Finally Reveals When She’s Coming Back

Emmerdale fans have been left wondering what comes next for Isabel Hodgins — and now the actress has finally dropped the clue viewers have been waiting for. After her dramatic exit, Victoria discovered the truth about her brother John Sugden’s deadly actions, only to be shaken again when he returned to the village hoping to mend things with her and Harry.

Then, in the explosive Corriedale episode, Victoria killed John in a shocking twist — but the fallout was far from over for the family.

It later emerged that Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) had a video showing John’s death, and he threatened to hand it to the police unless Victoria and Robert (Ryan Hawley) agreed to sell him their share of Butler’s Farm.

When Victoria discovered that Robert had gone as far as framing Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) for Celia Daniels’ murder, she was horrified and made the decision to leave the village with Harry to stay with Diane Sugden in Portugal.

Her exit followed Isabel Hodgins revealing that she was expecting her first child, leading to maternity leave from the soap.

Now, the good news for fans is that her departure will not be permanent. Isabel has already confirmed when she’ll be back on screen.

In a TikTok video, she was seen dancing with her partner Adam.

When one fan asked in the comments when she would return to Emmerdale, Isabel answered that it would be “later this year.”

The video caption also revealed that it was filmed while newborn daughter Georgie was sleeping.

Isabel and Adam announced Georgie’s birth on Instagram, sharing that she arrived on February 11 and weighed 8lbs 5oz.

The post was flooded with love from Isabel’s Emmerdale co-stars, who have continued to show their support across social media.
