Survivor 50 is bringing the tears with its next episode.

Stephenie LaGrossa Kendrick was sent to Ponderosa during the last episode, leaving her allies scrambling to find footing.

But her allies (Joe Hunter and Jonathan Young) are not the people shown crying during the new episode promo.

Synopsis for the May 6 Survivor 50 episode

“Castaways find themselves on both a literal and figurative island after their return from what is regarded as one of the ‘craziest tribals of all time.’ Castaways reflect on their letters from home and the family members that have impacted them. Then, a shocking incident takes place at this week’s Immunity Challenge, on Survivor 50,” reads the full episode synopsis.

It was good that everyone got a letter from home. But it may lead them to miss their families even more. At this point in the game, the castaways haven’t seen their loved ones in more than a month.

Survivor 50, Episode 11 TV promo

Rick Devens is seen first in the new promo. He is celebrating that the prize is up to $2 million after his MrBeast coin flip.

The tone of the promo then shifts. It goes from joy to tears. Ozzy Lusth is shown in a hammock as tears stream down from his face. Then, Cirie Fields speaks about going “into panic mode” during an upcoming moment.

Emily Flippen suggests an idea for a big move, Rizo Velovic hints that someone has spoken about a secret plan, and Aubry Bracco states that the biggest moment in the game has arrived.

Queue the guesses about what’s coming. Does Ozzy get injured? Does Cirie have something bad in that blanket she won at the Survivor auction? Will a Journey punish someone? Only nine people remain, so things are about to get very intense.

As a reminder, this new episode airs on Wednesday, May 6.
