After a season packed with strategy, tension, and plenty of bad blood, Rick Devens has finally named the one Survivor 50 castaway who still has him looking ahead to finale night with caution.

If you thought the answer would be Joe Hunter, you’re definitely not alone. A lot of fans expected the tension between the two fan favorites to carry over after a season filled with friction, especially since Joe seemed irritated by nearly everything Rick Devens did. But in his exit interview with Page Six, Devens named someone else entirely.
After delivering a strong run that echoed his first appearance, Devens became the 8th member of the jury in the latest episode of Survivor 50. He says he’s excited to see the show return to a live finale, but there is one castaway he is not exactly looking forward to seeing on Wednesday, May 20.
“I do think there’s going to be drama…” – Rick Devens to Page Six
When asked who he was least excited to reunite with, the two-time player immediately pointed to former Cila tribemate and original Survivor: Borneo castaway Jenna Lewis-Doughtery. “She trolled me the whole season. It just blows my mind.”

As the first player voted out, Jenna drew a lot of attention after leaving the game, and she wasted no time sharing her version of what happened in those opening days. After the premiere aired, she went on social media and claimed that Devens and his closest ally, Christian Hubicki, were bragging about how much screen time they expected to get.
Devens is now pushing back, saying Jenna turned a joke into something personal. “When we lost the first challenge, I’m like, ‘Hey, good news, guys. We’re going to get airtime because we’re the tribe that loses,’” he recalled about those early days. Given how upbeat and playful he was throughout the season, it does sound like the kind of comment he would make to keep spirits up.
But Jenna apparently didn’t find it funny. Devens says she didn’t say much when they first saw each other again at the premiere party, but her tone changed once the press started asking questions. “In her exit press she’s name-calling and bashing us, and then she just kept doing it all season.” He added that, much like Joe’s reaction to his game play, “That’s not the way I play the game. So I was just over it.”

Devens also says he’s denying Jenna’s claims from her Page Six exit interview that he, Christian, and Emily Flippen had a pre-game alliance. According to him, the only people he spoke with before the season were Aubry Bracco, whom he was happy to see again in Fiji after both appeared on Survivor: Edge of Extinction, and Angelina Keeley, who he said seemed to have reached out to nearly everyone.
And on the subject fans have been wondering about, Devens says he and Joe are completely fine now that the game is over. “We’re friends now,” he said of his former in-game rival. Still, viewers will have two more hours of gameplay to watch next Wednesday during the live finale, which could reveal more about the jury and finalist interactions between the two if Joe is indeed headed for Final Tribal Council.
