LE VELL’S BELLS Corrie icon to marry fiancée of nine years TOMORROW in low-key wedding
A CORONATION Street star is finally set to marry his long term fiancée this weekend.

Michael Le Vell, 61, who plays Kevin Webster on-screen, will say I Do with his fiancée Louise Gibbons, 50, in a very intimate ceremony in Manchester tomorrow before hosting a private dinner for their nearest and dearest.

An insider said: “Michael and Louise are heading to a registry office tomorrow. There will be no more than 15 people there, including a couple of his Corrie co-stars.
“There isn’t going to be a party as such – just a private dinner because of his past issues with alcohol.
“It’s been a long time coming and will be full of love. Michael adores Louise, she has truly been his rock and he can’t wait to make it official.”
Michael – who is best known for playing mechanic Kevin in the ITV soap – first met Louise in 2014.

They are said to have met because she was the sister of his local bookie.
Very early into their relationship in March 2014, the couple briefly split after Michael publicly admitted to using cocaine as he struggled during time off from the soap over child sex abuse allegations, which he was eventually cleared off.
He said he needed time away to “sort out his demons” and checked into rehab, but just a week later Louise took him back to support his recovery.
The star later told how he turned to drugs, admitting: “I’ve always been dead against drugs and have turned them down in the past. I’ve seen what they can do to people.”
“But it was the first time – I was so low and when someone offered them to me I just agreed. It was two moments of weakness when I was at my lowest ebb.”
During the trial he also opened up about his boozing, telling the jury he is an alcoholic, drinking seven or eight pints every night at his local pub.
Michael and Louise got engaged in 2017 but there were fears for their relationship the following year when Michael was arrested for a “domestic incident” at the home he shared with Louise.
He spent the night in a police station on suspicion of assault but was released without charge.
The actor, who is thought to earn around £170k a year, was treated in hospital after a 999 call at around 11pm from their home. It was reported that he fell down stairs.
Michael described it as a “silly row” that got out of hand.
The actor was previously married for 25 years to actress Janette Beverley.
The pair, who split in 2011, have got two children together.
