The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Jordan (Colleen Zenk) may need a way to throw the cops off the trail. In the December 9 episode, Jordan will give Ian Ward (Ray Wise) some unfortunate updates since the police know PCP was added to Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) pill bottle.

Although Jordan will admit there’s no putting the cat back in the bag, she’ll ultimately vow to come up with a new strategy.

Jordan will assure Ian that she can iron out this wrinkle for them, so what’s she going to do next?

Since Jordan can’t undo the fact that the cops know about the PCP, perhaps she’ll try to make them think someone else is responsible.

Jordan might want to make sure there’s no danger of the trail ever leading to her or her partner in crime.

If that’s the angle Jordan decides to go for, she might realize Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) could be the scapegoat.

Phyllis has been feuding publicly with Sharon for what feels like forever, so Jordan may make that work to her advantage.

We can certainly imagine Jordan planting evidence and making it look like Phyllis messed with Sharon’s pill bottle instead.

Ian has a messy history with Phyllis and would probably enjoy the chance to drag her into all this Y&R drama.

Phyllis knows a truck ran her off the road the night of Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) and Devon Winters’ (Bryton James) wedding – one that looked nothing like the silver SUV that Sharon was driving.

Since Phyllis is pointing the finger at Sharon anyway, that may not do her any favors if Jordan frames her.

Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) already heard Phyllis mention a truck, so she senses that Phyllis may be wrong about Sharon causing the crash.

Jordan could craft a narrative and make it seem like Phyllis has been trying to push Sharon over the edge.

It might look like Phyllis didn’t anticipate that Sharon would go after Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) and rip away the love of Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Graziadei) life.

In other words, Jordan could plant proof that points in Phyllis direction for the med tampering. It might appear that Phyllis lost control of her plot and that she’s desperate to cover up her own involvement now.

There’s no guarantee a plan like that would fool Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), but Jordan might try to set Phyllis up for targeting Sharon anyway.

Whatever the case, Sharon will resort to spying on Phyllis during the week of December 9-13, so she may grow suspicious of her rival.

That might give Jordan the idea to set Phyllis up and ensure that her own hands are kept clean along with Ian’s.
