Just because General Hospital dealt rookie cop Dex Heller a death sentence doesn’t mean that portrayer Evan Hofer is ready to bury his career in daytime. On the contrary, in an exclusive interview with Soaps.com, he says that he’s perfectly willing to lather up again. “You know, I think if it’s the the right story and the right character, I’m pretty happy with whatever medium.

“I’ve loved my time on the soaps,” he adds. “I mean, how lucky am I to be doing something I love? What a privilege, and that’s not lost on me.”

“I’m a workaholic,” he continues. So if you give him “50 pages of dialogue, five days a week? I’m in!”
