General Hospital Spoilers: Lindsay Hartley Recast As Sam McCall?

However, there’s a good chance that she will come with a different face as actress Kelly Monaco will not be returning to the show. As many of our readers are already aware of, she was fired from the hit ABC soap last summer.

But because Sam’s name is mentioned almost every day on the show now, some people can’t help but wonder if she really is dead. Sure, we know that Sam was murdered by Cyrus, but if there’s anything that we’ve learned about life in Port Charles, it’s that you are never really dead, even if that last nail is hammered into your coffin.

There’s some people that believe Lindsay Hartley might be given the role in a full-time capacity. After all, she did fill in for Kelly Monaco’s shoes whenever she had to take a leave of absence when she was still on the show.

But even if Sam does come back, fans won’t be happy. As much as they do like Lindsay Hartley as an actress, General Hospital viewers have made it pretty clear that they only want Kelly to return. If it’s not going to be her, then it might as well not be anyone.
