The role of Kristina has changed hands on General Hospital a time or two over the years and one fave who’s been missed by her fans recently shared some very exciting news. Lindsey Morgan Sipos, who held the Port Charles role from 2012 to 2013, is going to be a mom.

Morgan posted a video on social media to announce that she and her husband, Outer Range, Reacher star Shaun Sipos, are expecting their first child together. “Surprise!” the actress stated. “Looks, like I’ll be needing bigger pants.” She then sent her love to Sipos and continued, “We are so thrilled for this beautiful blessing.”

The video began with a photo of a onesie that read “plot twist” followed by a shot of Morgan’s baby bump and a peek at her sonogram. There were also pictures of pizza, a throwback to her and Sipos’ wedding kiss, one of their sweet pup and finally the moment when she told him they were going to have a baby. Sipos was stunned as he asked, “You’re pregnant, really, are you serious?” And like a scene from the movie Grease, the couple fell into each other’s arms as a tear of joy glistened on Morgan’s face.

A few of her daytime friends jumped into the comments to send their congrats, including General Hospital and One Life to Live alum Kristen Alderson (ex-Kiki, Starr), who shared, “OMG congratulations! You’re going to love it,” as Days of Our Lives’ Victor Webster (ex-Nicholas) added, “Yes, congrats you two.”

Since leaving daytime behind, Morgan has appeared in numerous primetime series and was a regular on both The 100 (Raven) and Walker (Micki). In 2024, she played Kendall in the movie Single Car Crashes.
