General Hospital Friday, February 28 Recap: Sasha’s Kidnapper Outburst Derails Sidwell Meeting – Carly’s Job Offer

General Hospital (GH) recap for Friday, February 28, reveals that Sasha Gilmore Corbin’s (Sofia Mattsson) kidnapper outburst derailed Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) meeting before Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) made a job offer.

At Bobbie’s, Ava Jerome (Maura West) tried to prove to Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) that all the custody drama had been put to rest by approaching Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for a chat about Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).

Since Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) was sitting with Sonny, she flew off the handle and rehashed how Ava was responsible for her baby’s demise.

Ric defended Ava and ultimately pointed out the child belonged to Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) instead, so Sonny shouted for Ric to back off.

Molly and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) were nearby to witness all the chaos, so Alexis intervened before things could escalate any further.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) remained apologetic with Sasha and got her reassurance that they were good.

Cody later had a conversation with Molly, who was frustrated over all the drama happening with her parents.

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) also found Sasha struggling since Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) was overwhelming her about the baby.

Although Jason offered support and money, Sasha was clear about still wanting to raise this child independently.

In his hotel suite, Sonny had a meeting with Jason, so they discussed the Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) cabin frame-up and the possibility that someone simply wanted to cast suspicion on Jason as a logical suspect.

When Sonny found out Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) refused to corroborate Jason’s alibi, he called him a “son of a bitch.”

Talk turned to concerns about Sidwell joining forces with Drew on this esplanade project, which put Sonny’s territory at risk.

Sonny and Jason debated whether Sidwell was behind the penthouse explosion, but Sonny didn’t think it made sense for Sidwell to try killing him and then go through legal channels to take him down.

Jason eventually pushed Sonny to get somewhere more permanent to live, so Sonny decided to make a call he didn’t want to make.

In Carly’s office, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) sought her help getting Sasha away from the Quartermaines.

Carly got on board with the idea of offering Sasha a job and a room at the Metro Court.

Meanwhile, Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) accidentally got on the same elevator with Sidwell, so the exes shared an awkward ride.

Sidwell assured Natalia that he wouldn’t tell the Deception gang that they used to be married.

Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) dragged Sidwell away from his Metro Court meeting with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) to discuss a rare mineral deal, but he played hardball and wanted a five percent stake in the company.

Natalia, Lucy and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) were all part of this business discussion with Sidwell.

Once Sasha and Carly appeared, Sasha flipped out and alerted the table that Sidwell kidnapped her.

After Sasha ranted about being held at gunpoint and trapped in a room with a bomb, Carly backed her up.

Maxie was reluctant to do business with Sidwell after Sasha’s revelation, but Natalia acted like the deal was necessary.

Lucy still wanted to move forward as well, but Sidwell gave them some time to mull over his offer – though they couldn’t take too long.

At GH, Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) paid Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson a visit, so Lucky pushed the doc to help him get discharged faster.

There was some talk about Lucky’s close call and how it wasn’t his time yet.

Later, Kristina visited Lucky and insisted that as long as it didn’t affect Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), she was fine with Jason eliminating Cyrus.

Lucky wasn’t as keen on resorting to Cyrus’ level, but Kristina thought it sounded like the justice system hadn’t failed Lucky like it had failed her.

Back with Isaiah, he wasn’t pleased about Jordan plotting against Sidwell and made some dangerous predictions.

Jordan stood her ground, so Isaiah accepted her choice as the conversation turned flirty.

In Carly’s office again, Sasha met with her and got an offer to come work at the Metro Court.

General Hospital spoilers say Sasha will have a path away from all the Quartermaine mayhem if she wants to take it, so stay tuned for updates on this potential good news.
