Emmerdale star Oliver Farnworth, who played the character of John Sugden, has left the soap. His final scene aired in the crossover episode when the viewers saw Victoria with the medic’s dead body. The actor opened up about his journey and final scenes!

Ahead of the crossover, John found himself in a risky situation. Earlier, he held Aaron Dingle and Robert Sugden captive. After pushing John to the ground, Robert pointed a gun at his face. However, Aaron hit him. He said that he wanted to leave with John. However, Aaron later told the medic to drive to the police station. He sat in the passenger seat with a gun. However, John didn’t follow him and let go of the steering wheel. This led to the first crash of a multi-vehicle pile-up.
After the incident, John fled the scene with Robert, Cain and Corrie’s Kit Green. However, the story took a turn, shocking the soap fans. The viewers saw John’s half-sister Victoria Sugde,n standing over his dead body. Thus, Victoria killed the medic.

Elsewhere, Oliver Farnworth appeared on Corriedale: Backstage Pass. He opened up about his exit. The actor also spoke about Victoria’s involvement. He said that Aaron was in the hospital while Cain, Kit and Robert were after him. He said there was a huge standoff. Then the viewers were surprised to see Victoria standing over his body. Furthermore, Oliver Farnworth also reflected on John’s terror. He described his time on the soap as a rollercoaster. He said that he loved the juicy role. His journey has been crazy. Oliver added that in the third week of the job, he learned that he would kill the popular Nate Robinson.
