‘Baylen Out Loud’: Baylen Dishes on Wedding Planning With Colin, Babies After Season 2

Baylen Out Loud stars Baylen Dupree and Colin Dooley are in the process of wedding planning—but do they want kids one day?

In Season 1, fans watched as Baylen navigated life as a young adult with Tourette syndrome. She moved out of her parents’ home in West Virginia and moved in with her then-boyfriend, Colin, in Washington, D.C. The finale featured Colin proposing (and Baylen accepting), which is where Season 2 picks back up.

“Wedding planning in itself is very stressful,” Baylen admitted during her sit-down with Parade via Zoom. “Going into it, I just kind of had this brain of, like, ‘Oh, what’s it gonna look like?’ And, ‘It’s gonna be fun.’ Which, it is fun, but we haven’t really gotten a lot into wedding planning, as through Season 2, you’ll be able to see us just explore and find our wedding venue.”

Although viewers won’t get to see Baylen and Colin say “I do” in Season 2, Baylen said

she hopes to be able to share their wedding day on Baylen Out Loud if the series is renewed for a third season.

Baylen also reflected on how far she’s come on her Tourette syndrome journey.

“Four years ago, I would have never pictured myself here, now,” she told producers while tearing up. “I’ve gone from needing my parents and living with them to being independent and growing. Having Colin in my life has made me the person I am today. I feel like we’re doing vows right now, damn!”

“Yes, me and Colin have definitely discussed it,” Baylen told Parade of one day starting a family. “He definitely has baby fever. Um, and I do not. So there’s that.”

She added, “It’s just not the right time. But we’re both open to having kids. We both want kids. It’s just he wants them now and I don’t.”
