Murielle Hilaire may be a recent arrival in the U.S., but she has already made a name for herself as a prominent actress abroad.

Hailing from the Caribbean, this talented actress and model has captivated French audiences since she was just eighteen, when she first appeared as Cynthia in the popular series Baie Des Flamboyants.

A Franco-American star, Murielle was born and raised in Guadeloupe, a beautiful overseas region of France. Her heritage is a rich tapestry, with her father being Creole of Scottish and West African roots.

Her mother, also Creole, boasts a diverse background that includes European Jewish, Lebanese, and South American Indian ancestry; she resides in Los Angeles, where she shares her life with her daughter.

Murielle started performing at the age of seven, first playing Esmerelda in The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Martine from a well-known Belgian children’s book. At eighteen, she got her first TV role as Cynthia in the French show Baie Des Flamboyants.

In her early twenties, she worked as a model and classical dancer in Paris and New York. At nineteen, she began studying with Jack Waltzer.

She made her way to British television with roles in the BBC’s Agatha Christie mini-series and the hit series Death in Paradise.

In 2023, she made her US debut alongside Morgan Freeman and Cole Causer in the film Ritual Killer; viewers are excited to see her join their favorite soap as the new troublemaker!
