Grace Buckingham suddenly appeared scared on Bold and the Beautiful with the phone calls to and from the person waiting for the $1 million on the CBS soap. Once she received the money in her account, she transferred it elsewhere, then had a meltdown.

Whoever was on the other end of the phone was waiting for her to transfer the $1 million to them. The money came from Bill Spencer, who paid Grace so her colleague could perform a so-called miracle. But the only doctor who touched Liam Spencer was Grace Buckingham.

That miracle-working doctor with the experimental surgical cure didn’t seem to know much about the procedure. Instead, he took the backseat with Grace performing the operation.

Bold and the Beautiful: Grace Buckingham Is No Stranger to Family Crime

Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) is no stranger to the criminal element on Bold and Beautiful. Her ex-husband, Dr. Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady), went to prison for a horrific crime.

He delivered Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) baby alive but then switched her infant with a stillborn baby from another mother, telling Hope her baby was dead. While Grace wasn’t married to Reese at the time, she likely knew what he was capable of on some level.

Then, Reese scammed Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), as she paid a fortune to adopt the baby. Steffy had no idea this was Hope’s baby. Instead, Reese said the baby was given up by a mom who couldn’t care for the child. And he even produced a fake mother for Steffy to meet.

So, he scammed Steffy out of a ton of money to adopt the child, and no one knew it was Hope and Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) daughter. The rest is Bold and the Beautiful history, as Liam and Hope got their baby back. But does Grace have it in her to scam Liam with a fix for his tumor death sentence?

B&B: What Is Grace So Afraid Of?

Despite having an ex-husband who committed an awful crime, Grace Buckingham doesn’t seem like the criminal type, and maybe she isn’t, even though it looks like this is a scam she is involved in. Who knows, maybe someone is blackmailing Grace on Bold and the Beautiful?

Grace has two grown daughters, Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) and Paris Buckingham (Diamond White). Zoe was a bit devious when she was on the Bold and the Beautiful screen. Last we heard about Paris, she was living with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and working at Forrester Creations International in France.

So did Grace concoct this million-dollar scam to help save one of her daughters, who are possibly in trouble? Or perhaps even Reese, as no one would put it past him to lie and cheat his way into a scam like this by possibly telling Grace he will die without this money. So is he playing Grace for this money?

Whatever is going on, it seems this scam is killing Grace, she looks like this is causing her pain. After seeing her reaction this week on Bold and the Beautiful, it seems this is something she doesn’t want to do.

Bold and the Beautiful: Good Gone Bad?

Did Grace Buckingham suddenly turn into a scam artist, like her ex-husband Reese? Probably not, as she looks like she’s in despair after receiving the money from Bill. Then we learn she sent the entire million to another party. So, it wasn’t money she planned on keeping for herself.’

What we learn from the Bold and the Beautiful previews is her world comes crashing down around her this week. Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) suspicions grow, and the same goes for Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones). Both smell something fishy with Liam Spencer’s miracle cure.

Grace Buckingham bites off Bridget’s head when she starts to ask questions about the procedure. Finn attempted to talk to Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) about it, but he was too elated over Liam being saved to pick up on where Finn was going with the conversation. And that is—none of what Grace is saying seems possible.

Many fans think Reese is back in the picture and making Grace do something she didn’t want to do, but no one can offer a motive for this theory. Unless Reese has something on Grace she wants kept quiet, but it would have to be pretty horrific for her to go this far.

So, we still don’t know the identity of the person with the million dollars today, and why does Grace Buckingham seem so fearful of this person on the CBS soap this week?
