Bold and the Beautiful: Liam’s Bucket List – 5 Things He MUST DO Before He Dies
Bold and the Beautiful sees Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is dying and he doesn’t have too much time left. So, he is going to want to make the most of it. There’s a few things that he absolutely must get done before he is too far gone with this tumor. Some things to do with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Beth Spencer (Jordyn Ariza) and Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) and many others.
If you don’t know the term bucket list, just in case, I’ll explain it real quick. Of course, you know the phrase kick the bucket, a euphemism for dying. It’s a list of things that you want to do before you pass away, whether just in your long natural life or because you’ve got some sort of illness and your time’s running out. In this case, we’re talking about Liam and his end-of-life plans and goals.
So, Steffy keeps pressing Liam to come clean with his loved ones, but he’s still processing his prognosis. And to me, he seems to still be in a mild state of denial. But those crippling brain pains do remind him that Finn (Tanner Novlan) is right. Something bad is going on in his cranium.
Liam’s already laying the groundwork trying to make sure those he loves are happy and taken care of even after he’s gone. Of course, Finn will take good care of Steffy, which Liam knows, but Hope is single. So, his two exes/baby mamas are at the top of Liam’s bucket list. Now, let’s get into it as we talk about Steffy and Hope and lots more.
Bold and the Beautiful: Liam’s Dying Wish for Steffy and Hope is Peace
Number one on Liam’s bucket list is to create a lasting peace between Steffy and Hope. This week, Liam just had a heart-to-heart with Steffy, and he told her how much he wishes she and Hope would get along.
And of course, and rightly so, Liam feels like he’s the reason Steffy and Hope dislike each other so much. And Liam feels terrible. He thinks all the animosity is about him. But Steffy reassured Liam the issues she and Hope have are about more than just him, and that is valid.
If it was only just about Liam then Steffy and Hope likely would have patched things up years ago, especially since they’re both now moved on from him. And it is true that there is more to Steffy and Hope’s rivalry than just Liam, especially with the Forrester Creations coup that Hope recently pulled with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor). That’s really at the crux of why Steffy cannot stand Hope right now. But Liam still feels like it all started because of him. Maybe some little bit of that ego is still talking.
Bold and the Beautiful: Liam Wants Peace
So this week looks like Steffy extends an olive branch to Hope since Liam is making this bucket list item of his very clear to Steffy. It’s eating at him and she doesn’t want that for him with so little time left in Liam’s life.
So Steffy is going to do her best to make peace with Hope not just for Liam’s sake, really, also for their daughters. Plus, Steffy already said that her rivalry with Hope seems insignificant compared to Liam’s death sentence that he’s facing. All of that is true.
This week, Steffy drops the tumor bombshell on Hope and tells her that Liam is dying. And she may be doing it against his wishes, but she’s going to do it anyway. Steffy may also tell Hope that one of Liam’s dying wishes is for them to bury the hatchet, make peace.
So, no doubt Hope’s going to get on board with this as well. Steffy and Hope are going to respect Liam’s last wishes and try their best to make him happy in his final days. And Steffy and Hope uniting to care for someone they both love as Liam faces dark days ahead before death could really be something to see. A total game changer for Steffy and Hope.
B&B Shocker: Liam Spencer Wants to Reconcile with Bill Spencer
All right, so number two on Liam (Scott Clifton)’s bucket list is to reconcile with his dad, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). Right before Liam fainted and hit his head and the ER visit, the scans, the test, and the reveal of the brain bleed and tumor, remember, he and Bill had a particularly toxic fight.
I mean, Liam and Bill have had some nasty spats over the years, but this one, it was next level. Even worse than when Liam bickered with Bill at his office and his dad punched Liam in the face.
Some horrible things were said, mostly by Bill. It was so bad that Liam quit his job at Spencer Publications. And of course, we heard Bill berate Liam and said he can’t do anything on his own, basically calling him a Nepo baby, also valid. And then Bill told Liam, “Be gone from my house before I get back.”
That’s the same thing Bill said to double murderer Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada). So that’s not cool. And of course, Liam is going to want to make things right with his dad. And Bill will surely be horrified to find out Liam dying and he’s going to feel like complete crap for all the nasty things he said. So, I do suspect Liam and Bill may mend their fences soon.

Liam Spencer’s Emotional Bold and the Beautiful Goodbyes
All right, number three on Liam pre-death list is to say goodbye to everybody important to him. Of course, most important, his dad Bill, Steffy, Hope, his two daughters, Kelly and Beth, his little brother Will Spencer (Crew Morrow). Besides that, Liam may want to make his rounds to other people that have made an impact on his life.
Like Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig). Liam may even want to go say goodbye to Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) to tell him look after Hope, which of course her dad would do anyway.
One good thing about knowing you’re going to die, like in Liam’s case, is you can say what you want to the people you know and care about while you still have time. So despite pushing Steffy to keep it secret, it’s all going to come out soon and Liam’s going to get the chance to say goodbyes to everybody he loves, including his dad, Bill, and possibly this next person.
Will Wyatt Return to B&B for Liam’s Final Days?
So number four on our bucket list for Liam is a big one. It’s about his brother Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks). We have not seen Darin Brooks in more than a year and then it was just a blip.
Bold and the Beautiful quietly wrote out Wyatt and it was actually actor Darin Brooks who confirmed his exit because B&B is notorious for pretending things like that haven’t happened or they think fans won’t notice. I don’t know what they’re thinking. Bottom line, Wyatt’s not been around for quite some time.
He showed up for just a few minutes to hand over the keys to his beach house that he rented to RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman). That was January 2024, I believe. Ironically, Bold has now silently exited RJ as well. I guess they think we don’t know that either. So, Darin Brooks is not on recurring, not on contract, of course. He’s moved on to a slew of other projects. Good for him. But with Liam dying, Wyatt is sure to want to see his brother.
So, depending on how long B&B draws out Liam’s death arc, we could get Darin Brooks back as Wyatt anytime between now and the next couple of months. The worst thing honestly is if Bold does not bring back Darin Brooks as Wyatt and we don’t get Liam to say goodbye to his brother. That would definitely rub fans the wrong way. So, they need to get on board, get on that phone with Darin Brooks, get him back.
Liam’s Heartbreaking Bucket List: Making Memories with Daughter
And fifth and final, our last item on Liam’s bucket list is to make lasting magical memories with his girls, Kelly and Beth. With these headaches and blinding pain, I doubt Liam is well enough to, you know, take them to Disney or something like that. But he can give Kelly and Beth the gift of his time. As much of it as Liam has left, he’ll want to leave his girls with memories to hang on to, good things for Beth and Kelly to remember after he’s gone.
Now, I’m going to say it again. I don’t believe Bold is actually going to kill off Liam. I doubt they’d let a great actor like Scott Clifton go unless he’s the one who asked to get out of his contract. That being said, no matter where he winds up, whether it’s cured or in a coffin, we should see some of this Liam bucket list action come into play very soon on B&B.
