Bold and the Beautiful: Steffy’s Matchmaker Sham – Firing Hope Was Only Phase One?

Bold and the Beautiful has Steffy Forrester wallowing in her success after she tossed Hope Logan out the door, but that was just phase one of her ploy as the best is yet to come, or so she thinks.

Taylor Hayes was dying from broken heart syndrome, and that devastated her daughter. But Steffy promised no matchmaking ploy this time around.

So she had to get creative to get what she wanted, and it’s likely Hope Logan losing her job was just the manipulative tool she needed to do this.

Bold and the Beautiful: Steffy Forrester is Very Secure with Finn

Bold and the Beautiful has Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) acting like a victim around her family. Although, Finn gives her no reason to think he would ever betray her.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) - Hope Logan (Annika Noelle)
B&B | CBS

Sure, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) made a play for John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan). But it didn’t take much for Finn to convince his wife that he stepped away. On top of that, he also reprimanded Hope for trying to seduce him. So, Steffy has no worries that Hope will scoop up her man.

These days, Steffy acts self-assured when around Hope Logan that her marriage will never suffer because of her. She even tells her stepsister that she offers no competition.

B&B Spoilers: Hope Logan is Not the Target

B&B had Steffy continue to watch Hope and warn her to stay away from her husband almost daily. Plus, she never stopped reminding her stepsister that she was close to pulling HFTF.

Still, Steffy Forrester worked on Hope Logan, which in turn rattled Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). Steffy knows that one way to get to Brooke is to target her daughter on Bold and the Beautiful.

Steffy knows Brooke will always side with her daughter, even if it means going up against Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). She counted on it, just like she counted on her father, Ridge, siding with her.

So, despite knowing her marriage was secure, it seemed like she was waiting for an opportunity. She likely needed something so she could rid FC of Hope Logan.

That is the deed needed to cause Brooke to battle it out with Ridge. It sounded like she was about to unplug the clothing line when another opportunity popped up. So, Hope’s stumbling mishap might have ended up fulfilling Steffy’s wishes.

Bold and the Beautiful: Hope Was a Disposable Weapon for Steffy’s Ploy

Steffy Forrester is not playing matchmaker when Bold and the Beautiful rolls along next week. Instead, she plays a woman scorned for all to see at work. The spoilers have Brooke and Ridge at heated odds over their daughters. B&B spoilers even put the couple, who call themselves a product of destiny, talk about how their daughters have a way of coming between them.

Now all Steffy Forrester has to do is let this play out. Then soon, Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) has a straight shot into Ridge’s arms. Sure, Bold and the Beautiful fans think Hope Logan got Steffy Forrester riled when she kissed Finn. But that ended a long time ago.

Some of the viewers think Steffy kept this going as a front while waiting for the day to come when she could pull Hope’s designer line. A while back, she even decided to keep it a bit longer when others wanted to end it. This way, no one could say she targeted her stepsister when the time came to get rid of the line.

But likely, it wasn’t about Hope and Finn over the last few weeks. Instead, it was probably about stoking a fire under Brooke until her relationship with Ridge couldn’t take the heat.

So, while the matchmaking was likely more undercover than usual, Bold and the Beautiful fans still think it was there all along. Steffy Forrester wants her mother and father back together, and this is one surefire way to do that on the CBS soap.
