We didn’t have Bold & Beautiful planning a do-over of the Hope/Liam/Steffy triangle on our 2025 bingo card, but it’s happening. Of course, things will look a little different this time around…

Back in the day, Steffy set her sights on Liam, who had paired up with Hope right after arriving in Los Angeles, after he saved her life when she nearly drowned in a bathtub. They shared a dynamic that was very different from what he had with Hope, due in part to Steffy being more experienced in the relationship department. Hope was an innocent finding first love with Liam, and was much more reserved when it came to her sexuality, whereas Steffy was more than comfortable strutting her stuff in slinky lingerie and stilettos. Although it’s more complicated than Steffy simply seducing him, Liam was unarguably lured by her confidence and sexiness. So much so, that Hope got hurt.

If all of this is starting to sound like a more recent theme, well then, you’ve been paying attention. Bold & Beautiful has set the scene for this very same dynamic to play out with its “new” Hope/Liam/Steffy… namely, Electra/Will/Luna. Electra is playing the role of Hope, the innocent, possibly virginal, young woman caught up in the throes of her first romance. Will is crazy about Electra, but also keen to “take things to the next level”, which is soap code for having sex. Enter Luna, who has set her sights on Electra’s guy, and saw the perfect opening when she overheard Will’s girlfriend shut him down.

Luna didn’t beat around the bush; she straight up offered Will a romp between the sheets, making it clear she would give him what his girlfriend wouldn’t. Will, of course, reacted with disgust, given that Luna, unlike her counterpart, Steffy, is a cold-blooded killer. But something tells us that eventually she’ll get her way.

In the meantime, Electra, much like Hope over the years, took a stand to tell her rival to back off. We’re not sure that was a wise move considering Luna’s background, but you have to give the girl credit. She faced down, not only one, but two demented murderesses in a bid to save her relationship with Will.

We doubt it will work out for Electra any better than it did for Hope. It goes without saying that Sheila and Luna are a formidable combination. Unlike Hope, Ivy’s niece could put herself in actual danger if she proves to be too much of an obstacle. We certainly wouldn’t have gone over there acting all confrontational!

It was great that Will came clean with Electra, but the fact that he was thinking about Luna’s proposal when he was alone, already tells us what we need to know. Eventually, he’ll succumb and allow himself to be seduced — or maybe she’ll use Poppy’s mints on him. One way or another, the innocent Electra will lose out to the more experienced and determined Luna. So, while the circumstances and details are a little different, this is deffo a do-over of the Hope/Liam/Steffy love triangle playing out on Bold & Beautiful.
