Colleen Zenk Officially Exits The Young And The Restless As Aunt Jordan

Colleen Zenk Officially Exits The Young And The Restless As Aunt JordanThe Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers imply that Aunt Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) days of wreaking havoc in Genoa City are officially over. During the Friday, January 24 episode, she drank a poisoned oolong tea prepared for her by Claire Newman (Hayley Erin).

Realizing that it was either death by sleeping pills (diluted in tea) or going back to prison, Jordan decided to drink up the bevy, and she passed away as Claire, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) watched on.

Of course, the last thing anyone was going to do was help Jordan escape her fate, especially after what happened the last time they saved her life.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Jordan Howad’s Legacy In Genoa City

Y&R spoilers remind fans that Zenk joined the soap as Jordan in November 2023. As the sister of Eve Howard (Margaret Mason) – Cole Howard’s (J. Eddie Peck) mom – she had a deep hatred for the Newmans, especially Victor and Nikki, blaming them for her sister’s passing in the early ‘90s.

Fans eventually learned that Claire was actually Cole and Victoria’s long-lost baby girl, Eve and that Jordan had kidnapped her as a newborn, raising her to hate and resent her biological family.

Jordan was seen on-and-off again during the past year and a bit, as she was relentless in her revenge efforts against the Newman family.

The soap’s executive producer and head writer, Josh Griffith, commented on Zenk’s exit, telling Deadline, “We appreciate all of the incredible work that the amazing Colleen Zenk brought to The Young and the Restless and the role of Aunt Jordan”.

Y&R Spoilers – Could Jordan Howard Ever Return?

Does anyone truly ever die in the land of daytime drama? If anyone could return, Jordan would be a character who could finagle her way back to the land of the living.

While she was a villainess in every sense of the word, Jordan was also a fan favorite – a character fans loved to hate. Zenk was certainly respected by the Y&R audience for her ability to entertain and bring the drama to GC through her over-the-top Jordan character.

As a soap veteran, Zenk was also well known for her work on As the World Turns, playing Barbara Ryan from 1978 to 2010, where she snagged three Daytime Emmy nominations.
