Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) may have just made herself the top suspect in a major mystery. We know from the season 60 promo that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will ultimately get shot, so Gabi’s recent behavior may come back to bite her.

Since Gabi was frustrated over EJ stonewalling her, she decided to hold EJ at gunpoint to pry some answers out of him.

Gabi nearly pulled the trigger on EJ and might’ve actually done it if JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) hadn’t shown up when he did.

JJ got updates on the real Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) being the man at the Salem PD, so he brought good news to Gabi at exactly the right time.

That said, JJ witnessed Gabi nearly fire at EJ in his own living room.

As a result, JJ is bound to be suspicious when EJ is eventually found in that same room with a gunshot wound.

Days spoilers suggest Gabi could land on the hot seat and be forced to defend her innocence if she’s not responsible.

In a recent interview with SOD, Cherie Jimenez dropped some hints about what’s ahead for Gabi on Days.

After DOOL’s Jimenez mentioned Gabi’s vengeful side coming out over the Rafe and Arnold Feniger (Galen Gering) swap, she suggested it would lead to more trouble later.

“Her showing up at his house with a gun is going to create chaos, as well.

It’s going to spiral into a set of circumstances and it’s going to create a situation where Gabi’s going to be put in a really interesting position as far as where everything leads,” Jimenez said.

When we read between the lines here, that could mean Gabi will get accused of attempting to kill EJ when someone actually goes after him.

Once EJ is a bloody mess on the floor of the DiMera mansion, JJ may grill Gabi and worry she’s the reason why.

Gabi might even get arrested if someone tries to plant evidence against her in this upcoming Days storyline.

It all depends on who’ll actually be to blame and how far they might go to cover it up.

Regardless, it’s doubtful Gabi will genuinely be responsible for firing at EJ.

Let’s hope the truth will be on Gabi’s side and that it’ll keep her out of prison in the end.
