Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, January 6, reveals that Belle Black (Martha Madison) will open up to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) about her fresh start. Now that Belle is moving on from Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and accepting the DA position, she’s ready to embrace this new beginning.

Marlena will share some words of wisdom with Belle on Monday’s DOOL episode, which may include a warning about EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).

Since EJ can be vengeful and problematic, Marlena may think it’s best to avoid him if possible.

However, Belle and EJ have an intriguing spark that’ll definitely come into play in the coming episodes.

Days spoilers say more tension is ahead, but that’s only going to add to the complicated attraction that EJ and Belle already feel.

In the meantime, EJ will have bigger issues to deal with – like the fact that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) is being held hostage in the DiMera tunnels.

Once EJ checks on his captive and presumably provides a meal, Rafe will no doubt complain about his current circumstances.

Of course, berating EJ won’t get Rafe anywhere, so it seems he’ll take a different approach.

Rafe may put the blame on Arnold Feniger (Galen Gering) instead and suggest that EJ is in over his head.

Days spoilers say Rafe will push for a partnership, so he might swear that he’ll protect EJ if he’s released.

Although Rafe may argue Arnold is the only one who has to go down with the cops, EJ may think Rafe would say anything to score his freedom.

Lack of trust will be a hurdle when it comes to any kind of alliance that Rafe pushes for.

Other Days spoilers say Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) will need a confidant, so Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) will lend a sympathetic ear.

After Javi talks about his lingering feelings for Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), Jada may insist life’s too short to hold grudges.

Since Leo is genuinely sorry for jumping to conclusions and hurting Javi with his wrong accusations, Jada may push him to give Leo one more chance.

Javi and Leo will indeed repair the damage soon, so stay tuned for updates on the good news that’s brewing.

In the town square, Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) will let Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) know just how disgusted she is.

Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) didn’t go all the way with Joy, but Chanel will remain livid with them both anyway.

Although Joy and Johnny were just random strangers at the time, they had ample opportunities to come clean.

Chanel will fume since she took Joy under her wing and befriended her while Joy kept such a huge secret.

This whole mess will leave Chanel wondering how Joy even lives with herself!

Joy will apologize for any pain she caused, but she may also give Chanel a nudge to at least forgive Johnny.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Chanel will indeed grant Johnny forgiveness eventually, our predictions hint it’ll be a long road of groveling!
