A one-night stand between Alex and Joy quickly evolves into something more. Alex lets Joy know that he really does like spending time with her. Joy then reveals to someone that, in fact, she and Alex are now dating! Unfortunately, someone else likes spending time with Alex too. Having broken it off with Philip, Stephanie admits to Alex she didn’t want to end things between them, and she misses him. It seems Alex has more in common with Arrow than he may have realized!

Everyone is on the hunt for Rachel, who went missing after she stormed out of the DiMera mansion because Kristen confiscated her phone and told her she was going to have to go to therapy. Coming up, Shawn reveals to Belle that a little girl was reportedly hit by a car, and the girl matches Rachel’s description. Kristen cries to Brady, saying that she’s never going to see her daughter again. Will this tragedy bring them back together? And where exactly is Rachel?

Finally, fiction becomes reality as Bonnie falls into a trap that could be straight out of a plotline of Body and Soul. Bonnie steps into the hospital elevator, only there is no elevator there, and she plummets down the shaft the same way Hattie’s character was killed off the soap! As Justin tells Jada he believes his wife’s accident was no accident, a mysterious person puts a red X through a photo of Bonnie. Who is out to get Bonnie, and could another cast member of Salem’s favorite soap be next?
