Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers suggest plot twists are a way of life when it comes to the land of Salem. The Woman in White (Roslyn Gentle) re-appeared and reunited with her daughter, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) during the Monday, February 10 episode.

It’s been over three decades since Kristen has seen her mom who she thought had long died, so does Rachel Blake have yet another secret that she has yet to expose?

Kristen DiMera Is Not a Real DiMera … Or Is She?

As the story goes, Kristen, along with her brother Peter Blake (Jason Brooks) were foster children Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) took in and raised for most of their lives when their parents passed away.

Fans eventually learned that Stefano was quite obsessed with their mother, Rachel Blake, and he was the one who killed her and her husband in a car bomb. Of course, Rachel Blake didn’t die and eventually became the Woman in White, haunting Aremid.

Still, back in the mid-90s, the Woman in White and Stefano ended up in yet another explosion where both were presumed dead.

Stefano surfaced very much alive shortly after the incident, and as luck would it have it, clearly Rachel Blake survived it, as well. Over the years, the show has made it crystal clear that Kristen was not a DiMera by blood, even though she was in spirit and eventually adopted by Stefano.

Still, in many ways, Kristen is her father’s daughter. So, has her scheming ways been a product of her environment or something that was ingrained in her all along?

The Plot Twist No One Saw Coming

Why was Stefano so obsessed with Kristen’s mom? Why did he take in her and her brother, Peter? Was it from the goodness of his heart, or did he have another motive? Why has Rachel’s husband, Peter, and Kristen’s dad, never been mentioned in storylines? Could Stefano have been Kristen’s biological father all along?

Still, the only ick factor in all this is that Kristen married Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) at one point; however, as fans recall, Tony wasn’t Stefano’s biological son.

Still, Kristen married “Tony” during a time when Stefano’s nephew was parading around as Tony – and Andre ended up being Stefano’s real son, which was revealed years after the fact.

With that said, it was so long ago that potentially, the soap could rewrite history to a certain degree on all this or possibly brush it under the rug. It’s something all daytime dramas have been known to do!
