Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) just learned that the hospital is going bankrupt.

Kayla is already panicking about the loss of jobs and how patients could die traveling to the next nearest hospital.

With Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) desperately needing redemption, could he use his money along with Stephanie’s PR skills to save the hospital? Keep reading and let’s talk about the possibilities!

Kayla Johnson’s Discovery

During the week of February 10, 2025, Kayla and Stephanie learned that the hospital was going bankrupt and would be shut down. Kayla was absolutely distraught.

While Seth Burns (Bruce Beatty) delivered the news, he didn’t seem to care that much as he was relocating to L.A.

However, Kayla was concerned about all the lost jobs and what about the patients? Kayla mentioned there was another hospital, but it’s not close. So, someone could die if they don’t make it to the next closest hospital in time.

Stephanie Johnson’s Empathy

When Seth told Kayla the hospital bankruptcy bombshell, Stephanie was there. After Seth left, Stephanie tried to offer her mother some encouragement and assurance.

Of course, with Stephanie in public relations, it would be easy to see her starting a campaign to help save the hospital.

Salem Unites for Hospital?

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that in the past, the soap has brought the Salem residents together for a common cause.

One example was saving Horton Town Square from Paulina Price’s (Jackee Harry) greedy development plans when she first arrived in Salem. Another was when three villains escaped prison to wreak havoc.

With the hospital being a central figure in Salem, and being a main source of employment in the area, it would be easy to see Salem coming together.

Philip Kiriakis’ Redemption?

Even if the whole town comes together, that’s not going to solve the problem of why the hospital is closing down in the first place.

The hospital is about to file for bankruptcy and was likely counting on Body & Soul taping scenes to keep the facility afloat. With Body & Soul moving to L.A., the hospital could be in a real financial crunch.

Is it possible that Philip might come up with an idea? Could Philip and Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) unite to have Titan fund or take over the hospital somehow?

It would be a huge risk and venture, but it would make them heroes. It could also give Philip some well-earned redemption as well as make him Stephanie’s hero all over again.
