Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) was stashed at the Blake house. When Rafe wakes up from being drugged, he will find Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun).

It seems Rachel Black aka the Woman in White (Roslyn Gentle) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) struck a deal.

Ava Vitali’s Kidnapping

Right now, Ava is stuck as the Woman in White’s hostage. Even though Ava sent Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) a message, it was garbled.

Then, a misleading text was sent to Brady from Ava’s phone. While Brady is starting to realize that Ava might be missing, the former mob princess is tied to a wheelchair at the Blake house.

Rafe Hernandez’s Drugging

While Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) mother was dealing with Ava, EJ had to handle Rafe. EJ drugged Rafe and then dragged him throughout the Blake house.

Once EJ dropped Rafe’s drugged body on the floor, he turned around to find Ava being held hostage! Before EJ could say or do anything, he faced the Woman in White.

The Woman in White’s Complication?

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that while the Woman in White thinks Rafe and Ava will be simple hostages, there could be a twist. Once upon a time, a long time ago in Salem, Rafe and Ava were romantically involved.

Ava was trying to prove she had cut ties with the mob while living in Rafe’s house. Rafe was still at the police department at the time.

Interestingly enough, Gabi Hernandez (played by Camila Banus at the time) tried to recruit Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) into the breakup scheme.

In the end, Rafe and Ava couldn’t make it work. However, with Arnold Fenigner aka fake Rafe (Galen Gering) dumping Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) at the altar, that relationship might never get back on track. By the time Rafe is found, Jada might already be with someone new.

Second Chance at True Love?

What are the chances of Rafe and Ava being held hostage in the same location? That seems pretty astronomical, even by Salem’s soapy standards. Could Rafe and Ava reconnect while in captivity?

While they will work together to get free, they could also bond in a deeper way. It’s quite possible that Rafe and Ava end up getting their second chance at romance.

What happens when Ava and Rafe finally get free, though? Is this a romance that can last once they are back in the real world?
