Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that the action will heat up and bring a new debut during the week of December 9-13. That’s when Susan Elena Matus will make her first appearance as Catharina Meleounis Greene, the mother of all the Greene siblings.

Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will console Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) on December 10, so she may end up believing her beloved mom is really gone.

Cat will break down in Chad’s arms, but she could get a pleasant surprise in the aftermath.

Susan Elena Matus will appear as Catharina on the December 11 episode and the December 12 episode as well, so does all this mean she’ll survive the hostage crisis that Clyde Weston (James Read) has put her through?

It would certainly be nice for Cat, Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson), Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo) and Felicity Greene (Kennedy Garcia) to get a happy Catharina reunion.

Cat will ultimately get in touch with Aaron regarding their mom’s fate, so will she have good news to report?

It’d be sweet if Cat handed the phone over to Catharina so that Aaron could hear his mom’s voice after all this time.

However, it’s also possible Catharina will get injured or worse in all the Clyde Weston (James Read) mayhem that’s about to erupt.

Bottom line, Catharina is alive for now, but we’ll see if she survives what’s ahead and if she’s conscious by the end of it all.

We should mention that Ellie Patrikos previously played a younger version of Catharina in flashbacks, but now Susan Elena Matus is taking over the role for these present-day scenes.

Days spoilers say Chad will start to see Cat in a new light once this drama involving her mother goes down.

After seeing Catharina in the flesh and realizing she was definitely being held captive, it could make Cat’s struggles and excuses feel a little more real.

This trip could change Cat and Chad’s relationship for the better, so we’ll bring you updates on where things will go from here.
