Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, February 12, reveal that Rachel Boyd will make her debut as a Sophia Choi recast while Tate Black (Leo Howard) and Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) make doomed romantic plans.

For starters, Holly and Tate will discuss how they want to spend Valentine’s Day. After Holly hints about hitting the sheets for the first time, Tate will certainly be excited about taking that huge step together.

However, pregnant Sophia will come along and barge in on this conversation, so she just might wreck Holly and Tate’s upcoming night together, too.

Even if Sophia doesn’t steal Tate away once Valentine’s Day arrives, Holly’s going to have some misgivings and may end up slowing things down herself.

A discussion with Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) will definitely give Holly food for thought later this week.

In the meantime, it looks like Tate will ditch Holly at the pub while he goes off to deal with Sophia’s mama drama.

Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson) doesn’t want anyone to adopt Sophia and Tate’s baby, but they’ll keep working on their scheme to change her mind.

In the town square, Tate and Holly will have an interaction with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens).

There should be some talk about Holly and Tate’s impending bundle of joy, so that could put babies on the brain for Chanel.

After Chanel and Johnny agree to stay in Salem instead of making the move to LA for Body & Soul, they’ll discuss the possibility of starting a family.

Johnny and Chanel will both want a baby, so they’ll be glad when they’re on the same page.

Will Chanel try to get pregnant again or could adoption be on the horizon? Could Johnny and Chanel become potential adoptive parents for Tate and Sophia’s child?

Back with Holly on Wednesday’s DOOL episode, Days spoilers say she’ll catch up with Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer).

Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will have some troubling updates for Doug, who may pass them along to Holly next.

Could this be about the necklace and Leo’s difficulty in getting it back?

Doug may worry that it’s long gone and that there’s no chance of making things up to Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes).

At the hospital, Days spoilers say Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) will await answers about Alex Kiriakis’ (Robert Scott Wilson) feelings for Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein).

Since Alex doesn’t seem keen on moving to Los Angeles for Body & Soul, Joy’s wondering if that’s mostly because of Stephanie.

Alex may admit Stephanie is a big reason why he wants to stay and apologize since he’s back together with her.

Joy may confess to spotting Alex’s kiss with Stephanie and suggest it’s better that it happened before she fell too hard.

Once Alex and Joy cut ties, that could pave the way for Joy to head to LA on her own.

Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Stephanie and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will reel now that they know University Hospital is on the verge of declaring bankruptcy.

The hospital could shut down unless something changes, so Kayla and Stephanie will fear the worst.
