Days of Our Lives Week of July 28 Update: Stefano Resurrection Alarm Bells – Sophia’s Baby Gender Lie Hits a Snag

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for the week of July 28-August 1 reveals that there’ll be some Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) resurrection alarm bells. Sophia Choi’s (Rachel Boyd) baby gender lie will also hit a snag, so here’s what Days fans can look forward to.

At Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) trial, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and Belle Black (Martha Madison) will go up against each other.

Although Belle and EJ have established some professional boundaries, things are sure to get heated as they face off.

While Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) and Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) have a catch-up session, DOOL spoilers say Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) will have a bonding day with Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers).

That should give Holly a chance to unpack the emotions of her kidnapping ordeal and gush over how glad she is to be back together with Tate Black (Leo Howard).

Of course, Holly may open up about the messy adoption drama as well since Tate’s so heartbroken.

Unfortunately, Tate’s pain is only going to get worse as Sophia adds to her deception.

Sophia will keep covering her tracks and making sure Tate doesn’t dig too deep when it comes to the baby she gave up.

As for Sarah, Days spoilers say she’ll push Sophia for answers.

Sophia has been claiming she had a baby girl, but Sarah knows it was a boy based on Sophia’s prenatal chart.

Will Sophia act like the chart must’ve been mistaken? Will Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) help Sophia hide the truth with all her bogus documentation?

Whatever the case, Sarah may remain suspicious if Sophia seems flustered like she’s got something to hide.

As for Sarah and Xander Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) legal separation, that’ll bring a difficult new chapter to work through – especially since they’re both trying to do the right thing for Victoria Kiriakis (Amelia and Kennedy Hileman).

At one point, Sarah will seek support in Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) warm embrace, so Xander won’t be pleased when he spies them together.

Gwen von Leuschner (Emily O’Brien) will witness that cozy scene too, so she may try to convince Xander that Sarah’s already moving on.

Since Gwen would like for Xander to move on with her next, she may remind him the door’s still open on that.

Over with Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk), she’ll deliver stunning news and a warning to EJ.

That could involve Susan claiming that Stefano is alive since she’ll mention her ability to speak to those on the other side.

If Susan can’t feel Stefano’s presence in the great beyond, she may push EJ and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) to be prepared for his comeback.

Days spoilers say Susan will continue her efforts to figure out EJ’s true shooter, too.

Will Susan’s special powers play a role in helping her nail down the truth?

Whatever the case, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will ultimately have some questions for Rachel Black (Alice Halsey).

This could be the start of Marlena suspecting that maybe Rachel shot EJ and blocked out the memory.

Between that and the “Queen of the Night” dream mystery that Marlena is now tackling, she’ll have a lot on her plate.

Finally, Chad and Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) will land in a tight spot together. Will getting stuck in close quarters lead to Cat and Chad sharing a kiss?
