Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of May 26 suggest there will be some twists and curveballs! Fans can expect to find out Philip Kiriakis’ (John-Paul Lavoisier) fate after that beating.

Bo Brady’s (Peter Reckell) loved ones prepare for his last rites. Plus, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) is on his way back to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), but an explosion at a lab could change all that. Keep reading and let’s talk about what is coming up in the Peacock soap opera.

Philip Kiriakis’ Fate

Fans know that Philip was beaten within an inch of his life. Philip was transported to the hospital but still hasn’t regained consciousness. Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) discussed Philip’s internal injuries. So, Philip still could die, but in soaps, he will likely survive.

However, there could be a surprise when Philip wakes up.

Xander Cook Kiriakis Forgiven

I have a strong feeling that when Philip wakes up, he won’t admit that it was Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) who beat him.

Philip feels tremendous guilt over his forgery scheme. He also felt like he was relating to Xander like a brother rather than an enemy.

Nearly killing a man is a lot to forgive, but I have a feeling that this is the way it’s going to go. That will certainly leave Xander feeling confused, and it could have Sarah Horton Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) questioning her decisions again.

Bo Brady’s Last Rites

Days of Our Lives spoilers for next week reveal that Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) will be by Bo’s bedside. As Bo struggles to hang on, Ciara sobs and his last rites are mentioned.

However, fans also know that Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) are investigating the stolen sepsis drug. So, expect Steve and Shawn to come in with the treatment just in time to save Bo.

What Else to Expect

There will also be John, who is on his way back home after being rescued. However, a preview clip shows John caught up in a lab explosion.

Then, we have the spoiler that Steve and Shawn call for backup. What are the chances that John is that backup?

It would at least give Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and others to say a final goodbye to Salem’s hero. It would also be a nice touch if John were part of Bo’s storyline.

There should also be more of Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). With Flynn leaving DOOL, though, don’t latch onto this new couple too hard.

As for Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) and Tate Black (Leo Howard), what is going to happen with their unborn baby?
