Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Arnold Feniger’s (Galen Gering) return is about to negatively impact more characters than just EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). While EJ is annoyed about his new houseguest, it looks like Arnold’s new storyline will spill further into the canvas.

DOOL spoilers remind fans that the soap just loves recycling old arcs, and it seems like fans will get a repeat of a 2011 storyline.

Back in the day, Arnold switched spots with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) to ruin his life when he was hired by EJ and Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo).

Days teasers imply that the same thing is about to happen during the week of December 30-January 3.

Rafe is set to have a face-off with Arnold in the days ahead, and from the looks of it, Arnold will overtake Rafe to once again step in his shoes.

The Days preview for next week shows “Rafe” (really Arnold) whooping it up with other Salemites during New Year’s festivities. Still, where will Rafe go, and how involved will EJ get in all this? Not to mention … will anyone notice how Rafe has changed?

DOOL Spoilers – The Jada Hunter Factor

Days spoilers for Wednesday, January 1 reveal that Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) will immediately notice something is odd with Rafe.

As he and Arnold are set to clash earlier on in the week, it looks like Arnold will decide to start living his best ‘Rafe Hernandez’ life. But it may not be as easy to do as the last time around.

After all, Jada is smart, intuitive, and a very good cop. She won’t be easily fooled by a criminal, and as she’ll suspect something’s “off” with Rafe from the get-go, how long will Arnold be able to wreak havoc as his doppelganger?

With that said, the couple has had their fair share of problems recently. Not only was Jada given his police commissioner’s job after he fully recovered from his injuries, but there has also been some tension between the two since he left the Salem PD.

If Jada starts to question Rafe, Arnold could feel as if it’s time to let Rafe’s fiancé go. As the Rada has been having issues, a breakup would be an easy thing to do, even if it won’t make that much sense to Jada.

Still, this also doesn’t mean Jada will let things go. Her intuition and investigative skills could also get the better of her, so could she be the one who ends up bringing Arnold and the latest scheme to an end?
