Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) didn’t react well to Jada Hunter’s (Elia Cantu) passion confession.

Jada tried to explain that she thought Arnold Feniger (Galen Gering) was Rafe at the time but he wouldn’t listen. Jada does get drunk and is found by Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer).

It would be just like the soap to have Rafe have a change of heart, only to find Jada with Shawn. Keep reading and let’s talk about what could happen next with this storyline.

Jada Hunter’s Confession

On the episode that aired on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, Jada decided to go ahead and confess her big sin. Jada told Rafe that she slept with Shawn, and of course, he completely flipped out.

Jada tried to explain that at the time, Arnold impersonated Rafe, and she had been dumped at the altar and publicly accused of being a corrupt cop. No matter how much explaining Jada tried to do, Rafe just felt betrayed.

Rafe Hernandez’s Unforgiveness

Rafe ended up telling the commissioner that he was going to go home – alone. Jada felt like her heart was ripped out of her chest, I’m sure.

Jada really thought she was doing the right thing by telling Rafe the truth. While it was still the right thing to do, it’s hard for Jada to see that through her pain right now.

Different Perspectives

Rafe will end up going home and venting to Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez). Gabi might tell her brother that she knows him better than anyone, yet she didn’t realize it was an imposter either.

Gabi might also tell Rafe how desperately Jada was trying to find answers. Gabi might not approve of Jada sleeping with Shawn, but can definitely understand that her heart was broken.

While Gabi talks some sense into Rafe, Jada will vent to Paulina Price (Jackee Harry). Of course, Paulina will give the commissioner all the support she can.

Shawn Brady’s Discovery

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that after getting dumped, Jada will drown her sorrows. Guess who walks in and finds a devastated and heartbroken Jada? That’s right, it’s Shawn. So, expect those two to give into passion once again.

The next morning, Rafe could have a change of heart about dumping Jada. Gabi might have reasoned with him. However, when Rafe goes to find the woman he loves, she might already be in bed with Shawn – again.

Is there any path forward for Rafe and Jada after Shawn? Perhaps this was fate stopping a marriage that shouldn’t even happen to begin with?
