Emmerdale fans watched in horror as Cain Dingle was hit by a car tonight, but with three possible drivers in the frame the question now is who ran him over?
Kerry, Jacob and Graham were all seen driving recklessly, but which one of them caused the crash?

Cain’s confidence ahead of his operation
On Tuesday April 7, Cain was preparing for his surgery with the family fussing around him. He spent time trying to cheer Kyle up, who was worried about his dad. It was his car up and running that eventually caused Kyle to smile.
As Kyle read car manuals contentedly, Cain headed out for a walk before he had to leave for the hospital. He was on a call with Moira and told her he felt that everything was going to be all right and he would beat the cancer, she would get out and they’d all live happily ever after.
But elsewhere, situations were being set up that would end with Cain in life-threatening danger…

Jacob’s run in with Dr Todd caused drama
When Dr Todd‘s dad went into cardiac arrest, Jacob started CPR. Rich pointed out he was DNR, but Jacob was terrified of letting him die knowing Todd would blame him.
Of course, when Jacob did successfully save him, Dr Todd laid into him. She accused him of assault and screamed at him that he was useless, he would never complete his training and he’d never be a doctor.
Devastated Jacob was sent home in a complete shaking, shivering state.

Hurt Graham lashed out
It wasn’t a great day for Graham either. After Rhona’s rejection on Monday (April 6) Graham was not impressed with Kim’s attempt at making jokes. He was even less impressed with her trying to make him feel better about being dumped.
Later in the cafe, Marlon approached and apologised to Graham for all the “unpleasantness”. Marlon explained he’s been acting in a “ridiculous” way because he felt threatened.
But Graham took it totally the wrong way and thought Marlon was calling him ridiculous. Furious, he stormed off straight to his car.

Kerry wants a divorce
Pollard and Kerry were still rowing over Jai. Pollard threw her out and Jai told her she could move in with him.
Meanwhile Caleb encouraged Pollard to remember just how much Kerry had done for him. Realising his terrible mistake, Pollard resolved to make it right.
When Kerry returned to the shop later Pollard admitted to being a “stupid old fool” and said that he was “deeply, deeply sorry”. Kerry stopped him in his tracks by announcing she was moving out and they needed to get a divorce.
Eric begged her to stay and told her he loved her as a person and a friend. Kerry said he didn’t trust her and it was pointless trying to go on like this. She left as he sobbed.

Cain hit by a car and could die in Emmerdale
After Jacob, Graham and Kerry had their respective showdowns, they all got in their cars in slow motion. It was clear none of them were in a fit state to drive.
Meanwhile Cain was walking in the road telling Moira he loved her when one of the cars came speeding round the corner and knocked him clean over. He was left lying unconscious as Moira shouted at the other end of the line: “Cain? Cain?”
Tomorrow night Kyle will find his dad lifeless in the road. Moira is still on the other end of the line, frantically trying to find out what is going on.
The good news is Cain is involved in newly released spoilers for next week, so we know this accident won’t kill him.

So who ran Cain over in Emmerdale?
The question now is who is responsible for the accident? And will they step out to help or drive off leaving Cain to his fate?
Jacob was certainly the most upset and definitely should not have been driving after all that had happened that day.
But Graham was also heartbroken and angry at the same time. He’s not known for losing control, but could he have done?
And Kerry was upset and furious as well. Was she the one who rounded the corner too fast and out of control?
All will be revealed tomorrow night, but who’s your money on?
